Good video. I just went and had calls to take my switch out and remove that mess at the bottom so I could get to the auxiliary that's been added to the car. Remind me of the times when I had to take the light switch out of my 69 mark 1 very similar thank you buddy.
Thank you, I just changed the switch assembly on my '65 Tbird and when I tried to plug the big rubber block with all the wires in it to the top of the switch two wires popped out! Now I don't know what position them go into.....
Oh really enjoyed that video of the switch out. Reminds me of my days working on my 69 mark 1 that I had. I was wondering have you ever had to take out that console for the speedometer and speed out those bulbs I'm in the middle of doing that on my car which is a 64 model.
Im just curious, did the cheaper light switch still work? I just replace mine with the cheaper one and still have nothing. I checked the fuse and it seems to be good. I’m not to sure where to go from here, it would suck to buy the oem light switch and it still not work.
If I am not mistaken I think I ordered the correct on from the Bird Nest website and it has been fine. I did loose the turn signals and brake lights HOWEVER this was easily fixed. I found a loose connection up an under the dash I bumped with my shoulder while worming around under there.

Very good detailed info ! Appreciate it this is next in my list, as well as the sequential tail lights !
I have a video for the sequentials too. Also will be tackling the upper and lower ball joints as well. Stay tuned!

You may want to see if you can find a circuit wiring diagram in the internet to see what position they should be in.
Looking to replace the headlight switch bulb with brighter green led, once you removed the dash panel is the bulb pretty accessible?
Yeah I believe it was right above the switch if I remember right.

I have not had to do that yet.

How do you pull it out from the plug
The headlight plug should just pull out of the factory harness. Ours wasn't in there that tight.
