I used to pick up constantly because I was so scared they were going to choke on something. Looks like hes enjoying the yummy food you made for him! I always air the bed before I make it by folding back the Dona (duvet) and top sheet until I’ve had my shower and are dressing. In Germany we would hang the duvet over the little balcony rail to air, except when it was snowing !!
Yes, ma'am when I was stationed in Germany, I remember the little towns walking through them early in the mornings, and people would have their duvets hanging out the open windows.I thought that was so clever ❤

In rural Australia we run our dishwasher after 10am in the day as we rely on solar power. We also are very sparing with water to rinse dishes as we are on tank water. Water is reused to water plants. Our house is very tidy by being consistent in a routine, as you are in the video.
I had a book on baby led weaning for my children. It wasn't about pureed foods but allowing the child to determine what they were going to eat. Not one bit of separate preparation. They had a selection of foods that we put in front of them & they chose, just like an adult would choose what to put on their own plate. It is more messy than feeding food to your baby with a spoon but is what happened until only recent times in human history. Yes, there are a small number of foods one must be very careful with but resulted in less food refusal.
