You the man Roman! I love this! I have the Jet and really like it, but I am really interested in the new strymon. I think I’ll make a few new presets on my Rev before pulling the trigger on the strymon.
I have both and personally find the Revelation to be more musical. Neither were able to unseat my Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome from my board as of yet. I need to compare them a bit more in band context though. Either way, the Spin FV-1 chip is still holding its own imho.
Im literally starting at my bank account after already today purchasing a Jet Micro HX and a MCX Carbon copy........ and I was like "BET!" 😂 The Cloudburst is now on the way.
@@joshuafernandes4935 eventually people will get tired of the ensemble feature as they did with the shimmer and you're left with the "basic" reverb quality which is what matters the most because if the reverb is great and can be easily and effectively tweaked you'll never get tired of it.
Both sound like tweaked reverb/shimmer pedals with a narrow range of options compared to the variety you get out of the Blue Sky or Big Sky. More of a one trick pony. With how much these go for, I'd just go with a Big Sky for more versatility 🤷♂️
I have cloudburst and once you switch the ensemble mode your in territory that the BigSky doesn’t include. I like being able to offer the synth pads into my playing too. I feel like Vangelis! I have no experience playing the Revelation. So I’m not going to comment there. I do have the Neunaber Slate which I generally found more musical and usable than the BlueSky and Ventris but not the BigSky. Is there anything else on the market that can do the Ensemble modes? They are truly stunning.
Wow! They both sound so good!

Both sounds really good. It's a matter of preference of the user. You can't sound like shimmer, ambient, etc all the way when playing right? Imho

I personally thought both sounded great. But I kinda liked the sound of the cloudburst better.
Surely revelation v2.. sounds very musical.. - also has preset.. ( not sure about Cloud burst )
The essemble feature of he cloudburst kicks the Revelation out of competition though. Something not demoed here.

I have both and i love shimmer and anti shimmer on revelation but I'm not happy with cloudburst it's tiny
Revelation as its not Strymon😂
Not feeling cloubust at all. Thinking Strymon as a company is no more, everyone left its a cash grab now. Cloudbu$t sounds all grainy and not good.
I dont feel anything with the revelation either ? are you feeling something different with the revelation? what feeling ?
man the shadows are in the wrong angle... my mind is going crazy
