That's different for you Dave! Some cracking shots in the city, yes I liked the lady with the news paper bag. Keep on city shooting. Interesting. Excellent!
Missed this video last year, for some reason. Good to see you out of your comfort zone for a change. What an entertaining episode. Made me laugh a lot, especially your comment about the hell hole and mountain!
Thanks a lot Paul, and I appreciate your feedback about the music, it took me quite a while to track down something that I felt would work without ending up sounding like a music video! 🙂👍
I went away for a couple of weeks and then, like buses, along come two of your videos! Nice to see you back on YT. I tried a bit of street while we were away, mainly to see how I felt with the OM 5.
Hi Dave, a nice change of scenery, though I do share some of your feelings about herds of folk. Super images and an outbreak of Grumpy Dave .. what's not to like. The beetles mural shot with Mali out of focus while he was totally focussed was a nice touch too.
I’ve been to Liverpool many many times, and never been disappointed. Whilst I’m very much a country boy, if I ever do need to visit a city somewhere like that is very high on my list of options. 🙂👍
Always enjoy something a little different, and that was a good watch! I thought you were documenting an old skinhead's outing for a moment, until I realised no windows were getting kicked in, and no immigrants pushed to the ground. 😁 👍
Life has been happening, and I’m just getting to watch this. Enjoyed your shots a whole bunch. Sometimes it’s fun to try something different. I used to do a bit of street work, both in downtown Denver and in some of the mountain towns.
I bet those mountain towns are great locations, a combination of interesting visitors, with rivers and mountains! CO is definitely on my "must visit" list. I really enjoyed this one, in Liverpool, too, and will be doing a few more different genres, I think. 😊👍
Love your fallen Angel shot . I did a couple of hours street photography in Liverpool a couple of years back ! It was a great way to pass the time while my daughter watched the world Netball tournament ! Good to do something out of your comfort zone ! Plus you had a couple of bouncers ! 😀
They say that when doing Street work try and blend in LOL. Four Hill Walkers very lost. However you got some good shots and had a good day out, what's there not to like.😁
Hi David. Great to see some street photography of one of my favourite places Liverpool. Not too far from me. Love the image of the Beatles great shot. Have a great day . 👍😊
Thanks for watching, Cath, hope it wasn’t too distracting from my usual landscape stuff, but there may be other genres appearing on the channel from time to time 🙂👍
Well that was a surprise seeing you out on the streets with that rabble its a wonder you was not pulled in by the old bill.....joking aside you done well under captain Mali's guidance! did you manage to see the Beatles and the Cathedral? Its been a long time since I was in Liverpool so thanks for taking us there.......
Unfortunately the Beatles were fenced off for the Eurovision stuff. Although I’ve seen it several times before and it’s a bit of a holiday snap if I’m honest. And we didn’t make it as far as either of the cathedrals before diverting back to the waterfront, but I’m sure there’ll be more trips to urban settings in future for this sort of thing. 🙂👍
I noticed we ended up walking past it, and it was rammed, so just as well we didn’t hold out otherwise would’ve gone hungry! And we couldn’t have that 😁👍
Cheers Pete, yes a generally good day out all round. I think the next one will probably be from Caernarfon as I’m keen to do it again and that should give me quite a few decent opportunities with some interesting backdrops.
Really good shots considering or apprehension 😊 and I know exactly what you mean about being in the city centre. Outdoor in the countryside much relaxing
Yes, happy to report that the next video will be from mountain top! Although, I do anticipate dropping in the odd different genre every now and then as I quite enjoyed this day out 🙂👍
Interesting what you said, of what people say about lenses used at full open aperture. Have you seen the pictures of Saul Leiter. Every picture with all the rules broken. Every picture Fantastic. For me. NO RULES.
Hi David, Really enjoyed that... not only was it something different, but it actually showed you totally out of your comfort zone... hence the superb bit of humour regarding "being up a mountainside"... which just goes to show that as photographers its always worth pushing the boundaries a tad now and then... Now forgive me for saying but you have some wonderful streetlife on your doorstep in reality I am thinking of Bangor, especially at night around the pubs etc with the students from the Uni.... That shot before you did the critique was wonderful and a really nice use of a wide angle lens... Keep them coming David... just remember the hills will always be there... but time and tide wait for no man... especially in regards to street photography... Thank you... regards.. Yoki..
You make a very good point about local urban photography. Although I’m not sure that Bangor would be my first choice as I wouldn’t want to be relieved of my camera equipment! However, I have given some thought to spending a bit of time in Caernarfon as that gives me some interesting backdrops, as well as plenty of UNESCO visitors. 🙂👍
As it happens, I keep an office just round the corner from that location, so it’s not out of the question that there might be something less ambiguous at some point! 😁👍
Fair play David you gave street a go and came away with some very nice shots my pref was the older couple. I've shot street pix for decades, I also love landscapes but when I look back through my archives it's always the people that hold my attention. A mountain a lake a woodland seldom change that much but folk do, fashions change people age etc for me they hold far more historical value, saying that I can't wait to hit the hills again soon. Top work fellas.
An interesting diversion away from the beauty of the Welsh landscapes David, I'm more into the Siegfried Hansen style when it comes to street documenting but you have great results from Liverpool :)
Just finding my feet in this genre, of course, so I’ll certainly be studying it in more detail and try my hand at it again, as I really enjoyed it and the results 🙂👍
EH Mate your really good at this street photography lol. You was running out of B Roll, I was featured more than John Wayne in a whorehouse! Cracking day, and you really get that feeling from the video. Oh and you will have to do another because your coming Blackpool with us! :)
Yes, mate, but the thing is that I was showing it through my eyes, and I was out with mates so you were what I was looking at quite a lot. Lots of man love and bromance! 🤣👍
Hang on - yr doing street photography and a couple of B&W images?? 🤷♀ Has an imposter taken over yr channel?🤣. I keep threatening to go over there and do some architectural street photography sans people if poss. I guess next week you'll be doing sports photography live from Wembley in Sepia?🤣
Interesting video on a genre that has completely passed me by 🙂
That's different for you Dave! Some cracking shots in the city, yes I liked the lady with the news paper bag. Keep on city shooting. Interesting. Excellent!
Cheers Michael, I quite enjoyed it so they may be different genres finding their way into the channel every now and then 🙂👍
The Fab Four on tour !! Very enjoyable adventure Pal
Cheers mate, quite enjoyed doing something different for a change 🙂👍
Missed this video last year, for some reason. Good to see you out of your comfort zone for a change. What an entertaining episode. Made me laugh a lot, especially your comment about the hell hole and mountain!
Haha really glad you enjoyed it! 😊👍
Most enjoyable. Thanks.
Many thanks for watching, Susan, and being good enough to leave a comment 🙂👍
Well done. Another cracking video. Nice music selection too.
Thanks a lot Paul, and I appreciate your feedback about the music, it took me quite a while to track down something that I felt would work without ending up sounding like a music video! 🙂👍
Thank you for sharing with us.
Many thanks for tuning in, and being good enough to comment. Much appreciated. 🙂👍

Excellent images 👍
Many thanks, really appreciate your generous feedback 🙂👍
I am normally in your neck of the woods, now you in my home town, great vlog David 👏👏👏👏 hope you enjoy the city
I’ve been to Liverpool many many times, and never been disappointed. Whilst I’m very much a country boy, if I ever do need to visit a city somewhere like that is very high on my list of options. 🙂👍
Davie G doing street photography!! hope you enjoyed it dude
Hahaha, well yes I certainly did. Quite a bit more done since this. So I grabbed a Leica Q3 to look all professional at it like Alan Schaller!! 😁👍
Always enjoy something a little different, and that was a good watch! I thought you were documenting an old skinhead's outing for a moment, until I realised no windows were getting kicked in, and no immigrants pushed to the ground. 😁 👍
They were, of course, but entirely off camera! 😂👍
Enjoyed this video and I’m looking forward to your next street photography production !
Thanks a lot Ian, yes, I’ll certainly be doing that sort of thing again before too long 🙂👍
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Liverpool is an interesting place. Thanks.
Thanks a lot, Chris, so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for taking the time to comment 🙂👍
Good video again Dave. Waaaay too peoplee for me though. I work in Birmingham city centre and can't wait to get out again.
Yes, happy to report the next one is just me! 🙂👍

Yes, it’s quite handy to have some security personnel, makes you feel less worried about coming home minus your camera! 😁👍
Hope you are enjoying the Lumix 9 mm lens. It is becoming one of my favourites of late.
As it happens, I find myself using it more often than I thought I would. Loving the quality. 🙂👍
They say that when doing Street work try and blend in LOL. Four Hill Walkers very lost. However you got some good shots and had a good day out, what's there not to like.😁
Haha, yes, you’re quite right, we didn’t really blend in as we all look like we were about to head off to the nearest trig point! 😁👍
I especially liked the one of the woman with the shopping bag, checking her smartphone.
Thanks a lot George, yes, I quite liked that one too, especially the high key background which gave me some nice separation 🙂👍
As always really enjoyed the video strange not being in the mountains with you but enjoyed the images especially the angel thank you as always Burt
Thanks a lot, Burt, the next one will be back out in the mountains! For business as usual! 🙂👍

@@DGriffGallery Hi David . You're very welcome. It was nice for a change but like your Landscape video's better. Have a nice weekend. 😊👍
A nice change and lovely results. Thank you David

A grand day out mate, great to hang out with you for a few hours. We never did get to itchy nana for that burger though 😂
I noticed we ended up walking past it, and it was rammed, so just as well we didn’t hold out otherwise would’ve gone hungry! And we couldn’t have that 😁👍
I can't knock it Dave, I find street photography fun and enjoy that I have captured a moment never to be repeated.
Cheers Pete, yes a generally good day out all round. I think the next one will probably be from Caernarfon as I’m keen to do it again and that should give me quite a few decent opportunities with some interesting backdrops.

@@DGriffGallery that's a great idea as I've learned so much from different genres 😃

Yes, excellent work. I've never been much of a one for rules 😊👍

Enjoyable video David but wasn’t from Liverpool Street (London) as I anticipated 😆
As it happens, I keep an office just round the corner from that location, so it’s not out of the question that there might be something less ambiguous at some point! 😁👍
Great photography David, sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone, the mountains will
still be there mate lol.

Would have loved to have been able to use that track! 😁👍
Street shooting - can't think of anything more useless and boring. You're welcome to it, David.
Ah, what a pity, you may want to unsubscribe, then, as I will be adding different genres to the channel from time to time! 🙂👍
