Seeing Heathcliff flying a blimp with the word "Meat" written on it conjured forth the sentence "Heathcliff has to dock the Meat Blimp eventually" in my mind and i feel like Drawfee is partly responsible for causing me the mental damage that comes with such a thought and i think this should make me eligible for some kind of compensation.

I really think it’s something fundamental about each comic. Garfield minus garfield works because the base comic is bursting at the seams with bad vibes. Jon and his semi-illusory cat with unknowable powers are stuck in an eternal groundhog day type situation, with garfield’s boredom turning into malice. Heathcliff is about an orange cat with strange powers that is not trapped or subtly torturing anyone, but making friends and living his best life.
My genuine first idea for the 'Dont't Order Ham' second panel was to copy the entire image, but the lady is looking at the man, they're both covered in scratches, Heathcliff now has a fat ham hanging out his mouth, and the lady is saying "Well, sausage works just as well." and I feel like that could also just be a one-panel Heathcliff.

all three comics are of the same couple. the second is when they were young, the first is after one of them transitioned and started running the meat store together, and the third is them having grown old together
I must say, one of my favorite parts of this community is the commitment to the bit where we all think of creative reasons as to why an individual is not in an episode

Honestly? I love the whole episode not being taken up with free detailed drawing and instead just.roughing out a comic panel. All good with just seeing skilled artists do sketches then a bit later seeing the rendered bit.

Episode idea: Genre swap telephone! One person designs a character in a specific genre, they hand it off to the next person who does a genre swaped drawing of that character, then the next person draws it in another genre without seeing the first one. Sort of like the fursona telephone episode you did a little while ago.
Idea: just watched an epsiode of smosh's board af where they played 'tattoo stories'. Youre given 5 random prompts/elements/traits of a potential tattoo, and then you are given 3 minutes to draw said tattoo for the person that picked the cards, the customer. Once done, customer gives a card to the person that did the best at portraying that element. Obviously for you guys to do this, it wouldnt be point system, but it would be really cool to do an episode where you design a tattoo based on 5 randomly generated words/items etc. With or without the time limit. Would be really cool to see what you guys come up with!!

this suggestion has been floating around in drawfee's comment sections for years at this point and there's an easy reason it shouldn't happen: what does a nonbinary person look like? many nonbinary people look like normative women and men, because it's a wide spectrum. some non-binary people look hypermasc, or hyperfem. so I don't really understand how this could work as a visual theme unless you go for stereotypes,,, which, as a nonbinary person, I beg they don't.

I love Karina for fixing which sides the old guys are on in the render. Most people would have just left it but it was really bothering me so im glad she didnt 😅
I like to imagine, if you zoomed in on one of the houses in the comic Karina finished, resides the person from Elsewhere in the local news articles video. You just can't see the "THIS IS NORMAL" sign from this angle.

Honestly? I love the whole episode not being taken up with free detailed drawing and instead just.roughing out a comic panel. All good with just seeing skilled artists do sketches then a bit later seeing the rendered bit.

Episode idea: Genre swap telephone!
One person designs a character in a specific genre, they hand it off to the next person who does a genre swaped drawing of that character, then the next person draws it in another genre without seeing the first one. Sort of like the fursona telephone episode you did a little while ago.

Idea: just watched an epsiode of smosh's board af where they played 'tattoo stories'. Youre given 5 random prompts/elements/traits of a potential tattoo, and then you are given 3 minutes to draw said tattoo for the person that picked the cards, the customer. Once done, customer gives a card to the person that did the best at portraying that element. Obviously for you guys to do this, it wouldnt be point system, but it would be really cool to do an episode where you design a tattoo based on 5 randomly generated words/items etc. With or without the time limit. Would be really cool to see what you guys come up with!!

This brings to mind the “bitches and bros and non-binary hoes” line and I am here for it. Give us rad NB people
this suggestion has been floating around in drawfee's comment sections for years at this point and there's an easy reason it shouldn't happen: what does a nonbinary person look like? many nonbinary people look like normative women and men, because it's a wide spectrum. some non-binary people look hypermasc, or hyperfem. so I don't really understand how this could work as a visual theme unless you go for stereotypes,,, which, as a nonbinary person, I beg they don't.
