as an arsenal fan i didnt mind the title run in, what disappointed me was most of the fans of the other 18 clubs were all in favor to help city win the league even though they have something to play for, which i felt there was no chance. U cant win a league when 18 other teams want u to lose against a power house team in city, we were a meme team years back and all of a sudden within a few years we are the most hated team in the league lmao.
Well said, Mark. Reading a lot of comments here about Man Utd domination, but the difference is that they won their titles fair without commiting 115 fair play rules. From a Liverpool fan who was really depressed during their winning streak, but could accept it. I feel sick of 115 FC, just for the reasons Mark mentioned.
ManU didn't breach financial regulations but only because they didn't exist then. They only exist now because they were disgracefully brought in as a measure to stop any club ever challenging the dominance of ManU and Liverpool and other rich clubs in Europe. It is a victory for sports fans that there is competition in the Premier League despite the best efforts of ManU and Liverpool to prevent it. Man City don't have an unfair advantage - ManU and Liverpool fans are just spoiled men-children who are upset at having to compete on equal terms.
Mark, are you saying Man City is too good therefore doesn't deserve anything? Thats ridiculous. Coz let's face it, Man City uses actual human players and coaches to win actual games on the pitch. If any other team had done the treble and 4 peat none of the so called accusations would be an issue. Live with being dominated please. Have some grace. Let's also mention that most of Pep's players were either unknows or unwanteds, or academy. We develop players. So what's the hulabaloo about? Man City almost always opts out of a bidding war for a player.
I've posted before....as a Liverpool supporter...that its unfair of the Premier League to leave the 115 charges unresolved for so long ...it's left Pep and the players with hollow victories...instead of the praise that they deserve !!
PLEASE SAY IT LOUDER! mid season most of our own fans were saying city were gonna bottle it.. cuz of how poor we've been playing.. Arsenal and liverpool chose to bottle it.. it's got nothing to do with Man city🤣 We truly are just the best club in the world right now
So nice that Manchester United fans are experiencing the same pain that City and Arsenal fans have when United was winning year after year, after year and another year...
This is pretty rich coming from a fan of Man Utd who dominated the Premier league in the 90s and 2000s. Once Pep goes things will reset the same thing happen when Fergie went.
so what hes saying is, around the 8min mark, the rules were diff before and man city used those rules to pump money in, but now it cant happen since rules changed, so the 115 charges wouldn't stand any way. hence, the slatiness is that man city got the opportunity and used it, while others didn't or couldn't. and since they r compliant, nothing will happen. The PL is at fault, they left a loophole that got exploited. and no matter what anyone says, its done.
Why Pep deserves praise..? 1. None of these penalties are during Pep's era 2. There are clubs wo have spent way more money on players yet struggling for European places. So money isn't everything. 3. It is the premier League's incompetence that they are unable to prove things properly. 4. No fixed prices for Sponsorship and player values. 5. Even the FFP/ sustainability rules itself doesn't make any sense. It is for clubs which may go bankrupt due to poor management of finances. A club like man city isn't going to go bankrupt.
From the moment KDB retires the succes of Manchester City will decline...my prediction. How many times, despite being out for half a season; has he helped MC collecting the three points? So Arsenal could have won it if that ginger belgian tw.. was injured for the full season. Yes, they have depth in the squad, but having such a gamechanger is pivotal for the titles they won.
It comes down to the last game of the season, and yet City are dominant? Dominant would imply that they won easily. They didn't. They fought hard all the way and didn't give up. If Arsenal had won against Aston Villa, they would be champions now. City wouldn't have been able to stop them. But they slipped up and City didn't Even if City had drawn yesterday, Arsenal would have been champions. That is not dominance.
And the PGMOL and VAR 🙂 Pep wouldn't be able to have built that squad if they didn't break FFP rules, which was proven in 2018 with leaked files and reiterated by Uefa the other day 🙂
People, like me, were saying that by introducing FFP, you would crystallize the current top teams, thereby preventing the possibility of anyone challenging Man City. Lo and behold, we were right. That's why Man City are dominating. So good job to everyone who wanted FFP 👍

So what's the hulabaloo about? so what hes saying is, around the 8min mark, the rules were diff before and man city used those rules to pump money in, but now it cant happen since rules changed, so the 115 charges wouldn't stand any way. hence, the slatiness is that man city got the opportunity and used it, while others didn't or couldn't. and since they r compliant, nothing will happen. 1. None of these penalties are during Pep's era
