The new War Thunder update is out and one of the tanks I was interested in was the American T54E2 medium tank. I thought it might be ok, but unfortunately, it is not very good.

The whole of 7.7 just shows that especially that part of the game needs decompression. Most 7.7's are super op in downtiers but in uptiers they face tanks with Stab, LRF, APFSDS and just suck.

Sabot can do a decent amount of damage... except when it doesn't. The worst thing about it is the inconsistency.

While I agree that the "skill bonus" is a good idea I really wished it rewarded things like fighting on/near caps or other helpful stuff insteed of just kills, best way to play game is to just ignore all objectives and try to get to spawn camping ASAP. Had a match the other day where a 4-man squad all in ELC's bushed to the max just flanked my team and sat so they could third person watch our spawn and farm >.>

Hey Spook, you should play the Semovente 75/46 M43. It's a deeply overshadowed italian tank destroyer which can deliver an heavy punch but it's deeply ignored the potential it has. I am not gonna surrender in proposing this. I AM NOT GONNA SURRENDER, BE CLEAR!

If you like HE Slingers, you ought to try the M109/M109A1, It’s new and is apparently 6.3 (Never mind the fact your fighting WWII tanks in a Coldwar Artillery), while it doesn’t have armor, it can overpressure everything, I’d think you would enjoy it.
