Very nice mate. You had gorgeous weather too! Unfortunately, the June run was the only run I got of the Coffee Pot and you've probably seen my video yes? Because on the 23rd of June 2018 I broke my foot in two places and broke my hand in two places while on a photo charter on this particular railway. Thus, I couldn't volunteer until March of this year (2019) after I had recovered. It was a huge setback for me personally and was very hard on the physical and mental well-being at that time. But I'm doing exceptionally well now despite that enormous set back and I've been doing promotional filming for this railway for the last six months now. I have just finished filming in the last few weeks and I'm well and truly stuffed lol. Done about twenty odd hours of filming for a 15 minute video. Quite a lot of editing to do but I'm enjoying which is good. Enjoyed your video thoroughly. Keep up the great work. Cheers Caleb
Hi Ya Caleb Yes I saw your June Coffee Pot video, well done ! Sorry to here about your accident So you are obviously a keen railway/film buff and you have a good UA-cam channel Can I make a small suggestion ? I'd like see see more of a story put into some of these railway videos e.g The engineers in the loco driving the loco, "B" roll of fire, steam, gauges etc Passengers experiences. Get some GoPros on the loco too What do you reckon ?
Coolhand99au that’s the intention eventually my friend. I’ve wanted a Go Pro or two for a while but the optics have never been up to my expectations. Having said that, the newest Go-Pros out have far better improvements since I first looked at getting one just over five years ago. I’ve been watching their development closely. I’m currently looking at drone technology as well, particularly in the 5 and 6K markets. 4K will do for me at the moment but I’m keeping my options open as technology progresses. Cheers Caleb
Good man ! I film with a Panasonic GH5, a GoPro Session, and I have two drones a Phantom 4 and a Mavic Pro Caleb 4K is plenty The best editing software you can get and its free is Davinci Resolve but you do need a powerful computer to run it
Coolhand99au I use a Panasonic HC-X1000 Cinematic 4K camera. I’ve had it since July but my previous video camera (pre broken bones) was a Panasonic HD Camcorder HC-W850. My still shot is a Nikon D 7200 with a F3.5/5.6 18-300mm lens attached, I’ve had that since June 2016. I’ve had a look at the Mavic Pro and Phantom before and I like their features very much. I use the professional Adobe suité as my chosen editing software. Has all the things I need to make my videos better and indeed I’ve learnt a lot from experience over the years. Never heard of yours before. Might have a gander or two tomorrow and check it out. Cheers Caleb
Never Tire Of Seeing The Coffee Pot Train And Quorn Near The Flinders Ranges In South Australia!🤗☕🚂🚃🚃🛤️🏜️⛰️🇦🇺
It’s a cute little loco but it needs a louder whistle. It sounds like a sick kettle lol
