Unfortunately I'm having this problem, I plug in and charges for a second, disconnects, charges for a second again and disconnects. Restart makes it work again. Samsung acknowledged a software fix is coming.

I'm having an issue with my usb but even after cleaning it and drying turn it on and off it doesn't work. I got mine from at&t but I think it's a factory issue

Guys, it's a software issue that Samsung already acknowledged and they will release a update to fix it.

@antboogie6645 in my case, they found a fault and replaced the piece, I had my Samsung back now and it charges perfectly.

If I restart the phone it shows charging, but inevitably the issue keeps popping up and restart works. I hope samsung has a update in work to fix.

according to a battery reader app when I charge my phone it shows a negative wattage. which means the phone is charging... the charger?

I suspect firmware issue, seems funny hard reset cures the issue then comes back.

Its happening now on my S24 ultra. I bought on 11 August 2024, It started this charging problem on August 23, and today is 27 August. I am returning it tomorrow, very disappointed

Me personally my Mac USB C cable always shows that water message for no reason. I would swap the cord but keep the fast charger brick, and it should work

Ordered new charging port at service center free of cost in warranty but I was thinking about water resistant after opening my device at service center

@Ganesh-ec2gp no, even when I took it to a place to get it checked, it worked on the dude charger, but when I use like 5 different chargers and adapters, it wouldn't work some of the times my phone will go off saying it has water in the middle of the night I'm soo confused

It's the cable not the port. I'd give the USB C bit of the cable a good clean. Mine was dirty so that did the trick

The only way i can get mine to charge is with a charge pad and it charges so slow on that, that if im watching a video it will still die.
