strong 4 star okay, strongest 4 star not even a long shot. I always use her on my freeze team and she is a good support/sub dps, nothing more. She could have been S tier support if most of her cons weren't hot garbage pushing her towards on field physical dps which she is not at all good at.

I personally don't see the point in physical builds in Genshin, it defeats the entire point of the combat model. Only Geo really benefits from some amount of physical investment. I'll only upgrade the normal attack talent of my on field dps or bow characters.

I actually like using Melt-Burning Rosaria with Nahida-Bennet-Kazuha. Tbh, Nahida-Bennet can already maintain pyro aura on enemy, but Kazuha is there as an additional pyro applicator + VV + cryo buff. Just put fav sword on Kazuha and building a bit higher ER on Rosaria and you're good to go.
She was my first c6 character. Now she's an essential part of my eula team, giving crit buff through her passive and resonance, a noblesse holder, while also being a great battery.
Im running her physical DPS with two piece Pale Flame, two piece Bloodstained Chivalry, and a maxed out Crescent Pike, (I didn't think this build up, got it from someone else) And she hits HARD. Like a freight train. I love her attack speed as well. Her attack is over 26K. Unreal
Love her with kokomi in a freeze team. I also really like that if you want to upgrade to shenhe, you don’t really need to refarm artifacts as they can both use the exact same sets and weapons (fav lance most likely).
I like the way you cater to people that don't have every character in the game. Like kazua being in every single team comp. I like your notes about having an anemo healer.
I do definitely like her a lot still, mainly as a freeze applicator for Ayato or Eula support. I think the only thing that really keeps her from joining the old crowd of strongest 4*s is her burst being stationary, and it's just not quite as good as Bennett's to make up for it. Also, since you need to keep the enemies in it rather than attack from inside it, its effective range is a lot smaller, which means ideally you want grouping (Kazuha) whereas the Bennett, Xingqiu, Xiangling crowd don't really need anything to make use of their bursts. So she's always a small step below them, but also very key whenever you need cryo application
i remember how everyone laughed at me for building her, she was for the longest time my physical main dps. Now she is a strong cryo support that i use alot. I'm really glad i got her and her kit is so rich of value!
My icon is Rosaria because of how much shes helped carry my first account! I got her off banner and even at C0, shes great! With Dendro, she can be great for melt and reverse melt! I got her off banner again on my F2P acc. Sadly i wont be getting constellations for her right now because Scaramouche and Faruzan took all of my primogems, but i cant wait to build Rosaria again!

As a husbando collector, Rosaria was the first honorary husbando (waifu) I leveled and am still using her in my team. Her ult could totally nuke and then tick for more dmg. Plus, love the fact she is the only one with a signature weapon in her ult.
Nice video, man. I've noticed that, indeed, people don't talk much about Rosaria or is played by streamers that much, so people just forget about her. But she's like the last great 4* they ever released. Everything after has been lackluster or too niche. I got her and instantly found 3 teams to fit her in. Morgana, a fun Cryo infusion team with Chongyun and Reverse Melt Baron Bunny. It's always fun having characters that aren't stuck in a single team.
She's still my favorite character in the game. I wish mihoyo would give her physical build some avenues to be competitive like her reverse melt build in endgame content
My first DPS. Now she's more of a crit rate Noblesse support, but I still play her with my old physical set up every now and then. She can hit 25k physical charged attack without supports.
im a late gen player (started from ayato banner) but i main a hybrid phys dps rosaria (bloodstained+blizzard, dragonspine spear) because he normal attacks are just so nice to land most "phys dps" (if not all) are claymore and having a polearm one gives you faster hits and easier cancelable combos just throw fischl in for superconucts, another cryo for support and another electro and off you go def my most beloved build
I mained Rosaria for quite a while before Sumeru-after which it’s been all about Collei and hyperbloom for me-but I still go back to my hybrid build Rosaria when I’m in the mood to just bash at enemies. I generally equip her with Crescent Pike and pair her with Yanfei/Kokomi/Beidou or Fischl/Kokomi/Zhongli.
Rosaria was one of my first characters as a F2P, and I used her all the time before I got into Dendro. I started using her again with a fridge team, though, and the romance continues! 😍 And I just got C2 while pulling for Shogun!
I used to main Chongyun at the beginning with Xiangling, Kaeya, and Noelle as my main team for most occasion (basically a melt-team with Noelle providing the shield and heal). Saved for Kazuha and got c6 Rosaria instead (lose 50/50 to Diluc)... she replaced Chongyun immediately.
@@wildpants9347 Dude I LOOOOOOVE Rosaria! If you need a unit that puts out tons of cryo, buffs your team's Crit rate, and has multiple viable playstyles, build her up!!! Most people play her as an offfield DPS, but her attacks are so stylish that I play her on field most of the time lol. And the thing is, her normal attacks are pretty good so using her on-field works along with the right sub DPS and supports. On the flipside, you can play her as the burst DPS, stuff her with crit rate, watch your team go crit crazy

I've got all the cryo's and still love using her and Kaeya a lot, if only I could get Kaeya's C6 as well. I love how quickswappy they are, I love that Rosaria has consistent cryo in a decent AoE and that Kaeya's cryo is mobile. Ganyu has amazing AoE on her off-field, but outside quadratic scenarios it doesn't hit as hard as Rosaria. Ayaka's ult hits CRAZY dmg, but wave two spawns and it's bye bye to the ult even if Venti Q is still up. Ganyu, Ayaka and Shenhe are absolutely crazy performers, especially if you get cons, but you gotta love the utility and action these two 4*'s can provide. And we're comparing them to monsters here, for someone that doesn't have the alternatives, Kaeya and/or Rosaria are INCREDIBLE characters to level. Generally much less needed since Dendro improved f2p, but still such a good option.
she was my most anticipated character from the OG leak. everyone was looking at yao yao, shenhe and the rest but i was looking at her. comes her 1st banner i rolled like 68 rolls and didn't get her once. made a new account got her immediatly and she carried me to end game. now i have her C6 on both accounts at AR60 and highly invested in her. she's the most underrated 4* character in the game.
The Staff of Scarlet Sands arguably the best weapon (R5 Dragons Bane closely follows of course) for Rosaria in a reverse melt team. The weapon's passive skill synergizes well with a reverse melt build since you are incentivized to build EM for higher reverse melt reaction damage, and, at R1, 52% of this EM is converted to bonus attack. Rosaria's skill can also easily proc the weapon's other passive which gives a stack (max of 3) every time her skill hits an enemy which converts her EM to more bonus attack. (For mobs you can easily get max stats if you line them up and hit them with her skill, and for boss fights, since Rosaria's skill is actually 2 hits, both hits give a stack and with a short cooldown, you can easily get the third stack before finally snapshotting the buff for her burst) And did I mention the massive amounts of Crit Rate the weapon has, easily gives her more crit rate buffing capability with that alone. All in all, this weapon is the perfect polearm for a reverse melt Rosaria.
I actually haven't calculated Staff of Scarlet Sands at all since most of this video comes from my notes and calcs a few patches ago with the fridge part added in last minute. I wouldn't be surprised if Staff of Scarlet Sands is the best in slot for reverse melt though, but too bad it's one of the few weapons I don't actually own in-game :( Thanks for the very thorough comment!
I've actually adjusted my freeze team from being Ganyu facused to being Rosaria focused. Not because it's 'better' but because it's way more fun to play. Put Yelan and Rosaria together and you can take advantage of both Rosaria's physical attack side and her cryo output while having Yelan's burst damage melting healthbars in seconds.
Im going to build her soon, she will be my first Cryo chr built IM NOT LYING, I dont use Cryo chrs AT ALL, Im a geo and electro main, never even used cryo reactions before on my teams rn Im playing on using her as a main physical dps with Superconduct ofc its not amazing or wathever but it will be badass, her basics are awesome and Superconduct fits her so good overall (particles, soundeffects etc)
I love her! She’s my favorite 4*star character. The only thing that bugs me is her c6. I find it to be really underwhelming, specially if you don’t play her as a physical dmg dealer or as a support for one.
Everyone knows about Rosaria. Her Reverse Melt Team is one of the few all 4* teams which is very high dps and used in most all 4* abyss clear challenges.(along with Sucrose Taser) (i.e Rosaria Bennet Xiangling Kaeya) Her last constellation makes her ideal support for Eula since she can give her crit rate, physical res. shred , and battery her as well. I tried nuking with her and with my build she was able to do like 140k burst total(melt obviously)
Can we just take a moment to appreciate her absolutely broken attack talent scaling stats? They're the highest of any polearm character and with some infusion (like pyro from c6 bennet) she can become an absolutely busted main dps since her CA has no ICD, pair her with Xinqiu, or even her own skill and burst and she'll melt and vape every single one
I've seen her value and used Rosaria for a while too. That said, Every Character is awesome. When we take the time to build them properly. Building and ststing according to their skills, values and cons. It's gets easy to fall into certain builds that work for another character, or a few other characters.
I’ve been using her with wanderer and she’s amazing ❤ she was my main when I was low ar and now I’m working on fully building her to be my sub dps/crit support.
I've yet to raise her but she is great on my second account. Freezing those enemies is so fun with Barbara, Kaeya and Rosaria with Geo or Anemo Traveller as support.
Although i dont use Rosaria much, I've tried Burning melt with her before (cause she s the only good cryo dmg dealer i have built) That being Rosaria/Nahida/Bennett/Kazuha. And that Team is absolutely cracked. 40k burst melts with my Decent-ish build is nice
I use her as a main DPS on my freeze team with Mona, Kazuha and Barbara. To this day, I still remember being excited about her being a polearm, because my first 5* weapon was Skyward Spine, which ended up working really well on her. Ended up getting a bunch of broken Blizzard Strayer artifacts too, it was destiny. What I love about her so much is that she doesn't need as much CR as the other characters, though you could still go for it for the sake of her ally support passive. With Cryo Resonance, Blizzard set and one of her passive skills, reaching 100% CR is very easy, especially on freeze teams. Still mad that she got nerfed a lot over the years design-wise. I miss the old Rosaria.
Her, Xiao, Child and Sucrose got me through Mid game. Awesome someone else saw her greatness. I've been going HAM on my new fav team (no rosaria) Ayato, Kuki, Nahida, Zhongli.

Very useful, she was the first character I ever got apart from Noelle (and the free characters ofc) and I've been using her as an on field physical dps for a long time. Looking to try new things now though.
As someone who mainly uses reverse melt rozaria team and did a lot of testing here are my thoughts : I can say that shenhe is really really good on that team. I dare say she's the best cryo flex because of her synergy with Bennet is simply disgusting. Also i haven't tried yet but pretty sure you can use kazuha instead of xiangling because rosaria burst pushes enemies outside, grouping might do well but i still use xiangling because she's just good. As for weapons she gets a lot of mileage out of dragon's bane when you have good pyro application which you tend to have in that team. + In a reverse melt, all your melts matter so instead of emblem i would really run something like gilded or lavawalker. You generally don't have energy problems so i think anything related to er is just wasted on her. I can say it's a team that gets better and better with more investment.
You're entirely right with the last comment of investment. Reverse melt has some insane damage ceilings with Staff of Scarlet Sands (as another person commented) and Dragon's Bane. Feel bad for skimming over those options but there was so much to cover and I wanted to emphasize the flexiblity of Emblem, haha.

Thank you for making this vid! Rosaria is crazy good and it's insane how many players say otherwise. They just don't know how to build her properly. While she is no top tier unit like Ayaka or Eula, my Rosaria hits super hard and enough that I would consider her a low tier 5*. Of course, mine is C6 so....that does boost her overall value quite a bit. Anyway, grade A stuff! 👏
just another thing to mention: dragons bane is quite a good option for Rosaria (only in rev melt teams) as she can make use of the passive of the em. so its a viable option. also shenhe is a very adequate (and best) teammate for reverse melt rosaria along - and kazuha can replace xiangling similarly to how jean does.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fridge teams actually only consider the Hydro/Cryo/Dendro units and bringing a Electro/Pyro along is a HyperFridge comp and whatever the garbage Burgeon teams are considered. In fact most pure Fridge teams incorporate a resonance or bring an Anemo character for VV shred and EM buffs. HyperFridge works because you don't lose the Hydro or Dendro application immediately if Electro hits before a bloom is created, and Rosaria does in fact make a pretty good choice for your Cryo character. With Thoma/Xinyan... you basically can't bring DMC because you risk blowing up your burst and removing your prolonged Dendro application. In addition of the Pyro eating some of the Hydro/Dendro applications making it a lot harder to make cores. Managing all of this in a comp without Hydro or Dendro resonance to make the core generation more reliable is just not worth it, adding that Cryo unit and making it a BurningFridge is just not worth it.
For a support Rosaria, I gave her an R5 lvl 90 white tassel, er sands for burst uptime and crit rate circlet and boy she had an 78 crit rate, great for utilizing her passive to the fullest.
Favonius Lance have so much synergy with Rosaria i would even say that is her signature weapon >just enough ER to reliably burst on CD even without extra ERs from artifacts >R5 Lance passive cooldown matches Rosaria's E cooldown perfectly >Rosaria's E hits twitch which means you have TWO separate chances to trigger the Lance passive every E cast >Rosaria is incentivized to build high crit and even have self crit buffs, combined with the previous point, it basically double dips on the Lance proc every E cast >Having almost guaranteed fav lance proc every E cast, means she basically doesn't any more extra ER beside from wweapon, hence point 1 Rosaria and FavLance is a match made in heaven
Rosaria is a good Sub-DPS plus buffs Eula. Giving her Crit Rate with her Passive and Cryo Resonance +30% Crit if you could reach the threshold. Then you got Physical Resistance shred with her C6. Plus Insane energy particle battery.

Something to mention as well is that she is one of if not the best 4 stars to get early on since she can also fill the roll of main dps,sub dps and support up till pretty late game and you can just play her with glad till you farm for a real set for her. And if your account is like mine and lost your 50/50 on ganyu and didn't have primos for ayaka so you dont have a good main crryo dps for 4 stars options there is only really 3:keaya,chong yun and rosaria ofc. Rosaria is your best bet for abyss if you need a cryo main dps. While you still can use keaya or chong yun instead I find that in keaya's case I like the longer attack range of a spear better and if you compare kit's with keaya is clearly more meant as a support and not a main dps and as for chong yun's kit it feels clunky to use and while generally a under rated unit he just is as flexible to use. Rosaria has carried my ass through floor 11 room 3 a bunch of times.
She's a lovely main physical DPS as well. As a filthy casual I use her on crowds of enemies, with Bloodthirster's Pale Flame, the same way I use my Physchl for single-target and ranged. Both use some (un)lucky Skywards drops. Maybe I'll give her a break and let her rest in the benches, if Eula ever returns to the game as a wishable character.
I like to use her with wanderer just because of her crit rate buff and his passive, its 15% from Rosaria (i'm rounding the number because mine only has 96% CR) and 20% from wanderer passive, so 35% and with buff food you can make a build with only CD, it's nice for a damage for screenshot build
Honestly I just gave her a 5 star weapon and pair her up with my favorite healer Barbara. And my traveler with lighting. Pop Barbara’s heal bring Rosaria out and freeze everyone and take my time flattening them if I need more damage fast freeze then bring in traveler for lighting and just watch the enemies disappear. Currently working on shogun I am currently lacking the exp books to bring her level up to meet my traveler. And then I can use him for something other then electro. In the mean time Bennett for the 4th spot as fire damage for melts and support.
Update: I just learned that Rosaria + staff of scarlet sands (Cyno's BiS) is insanely good. 200k burst. Another fun fact: she is one of the last released characters to snapshot. And we know how good snapshotting is based on XL.
without superconduct physical wont do much, specially agaisnt any ruin type enemy with high phys resistance, that crit ratio is a little unbalanced too. I sometimes swap my Eula artifacts to my Rosaria/Fischl just for fun, its not bad

Im f2p and i main physical jean. Rose and bennett are both essential in my team comp. Right now im using fishle as my electro for super conduct reaction. Super conduct, rosaria c6 skill, bennett buff. My jean can do 70-80k physical damage per charge hit.
Agreed, I’ve been using her to superconduct for my physical lumine (she was physical a few days ago) She worked against lvl 80 opponents even as lvl 50
i've been using her as main dps since day one and her team outdamages basically everything else i have, from National team with Xianling to Yoimiya team. Only thing i know that surpasses her is Morgana if you're fighting many weak opponents, but for tougher guys it's definitely her. And people have been telling me i must be lying for years.
I have her triple crowned on my main (don't have an alt haha) and she's so, so good. One of my favorite characters in the game. My only other triple crowned characters are Zhongli, Fischl and Kokomi. I love them all dearly. Two of my favorite teams with her are on field melt and as superconduct support for physical Fischl or Zhongli. edit: FINALLY someone pointing out you should use her elemental skill immediately before using her burst. I never see anyone doing it in that order in video showcases or spiral abyss videos. More often than not people use her burst before and skill after. I swear, it seems like people just do not read what their characters do... edit 2: I'm surprised you didn't mentoi Dragon's bane for melt teams. It's my go to and it's an amazing weapon that allows her to still keep an atk% sands.
I have her at lvl 70 C6. I don’t use her a lot, but she’s pretty darn good. I like her playstyle too. I wanna fully build her one day. And I can just swap Jun Yins fav lance cuz I don’t use her at all. (I have fav lances on Zhongli, Yun Yin, and I have one extra lying around at lvl-1 so I’m not lacking on the weapons side of things 😅)

I don't play physical so I was happy to get her to C4 this week. I use her in my Ayaka team as a battery and she's just wonderful.
She's still my favorite character in the game. I wish mihoyo would give her physical build some avenues to be competitive like her reverse melt build in endgame content
I just got her at C4 while wishing on Raiden and she is quickly becoming on of the best characters in my teams.
Wait til you try her with Raiden's E, then go to town on monsters.
Got her at c5 while wishing for both raiden and ayato. Now I play them in a fridge comp. Why didnt they mention raiden in the fridge team tho?
My first DPS. Now she's more of a crit rate Noblesse support, but I still play her with my old physical set up every now and then. She can hit 25k physical charged attack without supports.
im a late gen player (started from ayato banner) but i main a hybrid phys dps rosaria (bloodstained+blizzard, dragonspine spear) because he normal attacks are just so nice to land
most "phys dps" (if not all) are claymore and having a polearm one gives you faster hits and easier cancelable combos
just throw fischl in for superconucts, another cryo for support and another electro and off you go

I still use Rosaria to this day for multiple roles. She’s a great damage dealer and support for a lot of the teams I place her in.
I mained Rosaria for quite a while before Sumeru-after which it’s been all about Collei and hyperbloom for me-but I still go back to my hybrid build Rosaria when I’m in the mood to just bash at enemies. I generally equip her with Crescent Pike and pair her with Yanfei/Kokomi/Beidou or Fischl/Kokomi/Zhongli.

Rosaria was one of my first characters as a F2P, and I used her all the time before I got into Dendro. I started using her again with a fridge team, though, and the romance continues! 😍 And I just got C2 while pulling for Shogun!
I used to main Chongyun at the beginning with Xiangling, Kaeya, and Noelle as my main team for most occasion (basically a melt-team with Noelle providing the shield and heal).
Saved for Kazuha and got c6 Rosaria instead (lose 50/50 to Diluc)... she replaced Chongyun immediately.
I got her to c6 pulling for shogun and I dont even know if I should build her...(Im noob btw so its my first rosaria)

Most people play her as an offfield DPS, but her attacks are so stylish that I play her on field most of the time lol. And the thing is, her normal attacks are pretty good so using her on-field works along with the right sub DPS and supports.
On the flipside, you can play her as the burst DPS, stuff her with crit rate, watch your team go crit crazy

I'm running a triple crowned physical Rosaria. Glad to see others have her triple crowned!
I've got all the cryo's and still love using her and Kaeya a lot, if only I could get Kaeya's C6 as well.
I love how quickswappy they are, I love that Rosaria has consistent cryo in a decent AoE and that Kaeya's cryo is mobile. Ganyu has amazing AoE on her off-field, but outside quadratic scenarios it doesn't hit as hard as Rosaria. Ayaka's ult hits CRAZY dmg, but wave two spawns and it's bye bye to the ult even if Venti Q is still up.
Ganyu, Ayaka and Shenhe are absolutely crazy performers, especially if you get cons, but you gotta love the utility and action these two 4*'s can provide. And we're comparing them to monsters here, for someone that doesn't have the alternatives, Kaeya and/or Rosaria are INCREDIBLE characters to level. Generally much less needed since Dendro improved f2p, but still such a good option.
she was my most anticipated character from the OG leak. everyone was looking at yao yao, shenhe and the rest but i was looking at her. comes her 1st banner i rolled like 68 rolls and didn't get her once. made a new account got her immediatly and she carried me to end game. now i have her C6 on both accounts at AR60 and highly invested in her. she's the most underrated 4* character in the game.
Rosaria and Sayu are my foraging duo. The extra movement speed at night and Sayu's wheel is perfect

The Staff of Scarlet Sands arguably the best weapon (R5 Dragons Bane closely follows of course) for Rosaria in a reverse melt team. The weapon's passive skill synergizes well with a reverse melt build since you are incentivized to build EM for higher reverse melt reaction damage, and, at R1, 52% of this EM is converted to bonus attack. Rosaria's skill can also easily proc the weapon's other passive which gives a stack (max of 3) every time her skill hits an enemy which converts her EM to more bonus attack. (For mobs you can easily get max stats if you line them up and hit them with her skill, and for boss fights, since Rosaria's skill is actually 2 hits, both hits give a stack and with a short cooldown, you can easily get the third stack before finally snapshotting the buff for her burst)
And did I mention the massive amounts of Crit Rate the weapon has, easily gives her more crit rate buffing capability with that alone.
All in all, this weapon is the perfect polearm for a reverse melt Rosaria.
I actually haven't calculated Staff of Scarlet Sands at all since most of this video comes from my notes and calcs a few patches ago with the fridge part added in last minute. I wouldn't be surprised if Staff of Scarlet Sands is the best in slot for reverse melt though, but too bad it's one of the few weapons I don't actually own in-game :(

I've actually adjusted my freeze team from being Ganyu facused to being Rosaria focused. Not because it's 'better' but because it's way more fun to play. Put Yelan and Rosaria together and you can take advantage of both Rosaria's physical attack side and her cryo output while having Yelan's burst damage melting healthbars in seconds.
Im going to build her soon, she will be my first Cryo chr built
IM NOT LYING, I dont use Cryo chrs AT ALL, Im a geo and electro main, never even used cryo reactions before on my teams
rn Im playing on using her as a main physical dps with Superconduct
ofc its not amazing or wathever but it will be badass, her basics are awesome and Superconduct fits her so good overall (particles, soundeffects etc)
I love her! She’s my favorite 4*star character. The only thing that bugs me is her c6. I find it to be really underwhelming, specially if you don’t play her as a physical dmg dealer or as a support for one.
Thats true, it would have been nice if she lowered Cryo res too, but hey, There arent many Phys buffers in the game so its alright

Using her in my hu tao team and ngl, she does a pretty good job of supporting her. Adds some melts, buffs crits and doesn't make rotation too long.
I've had her on for a long time before I had Qiqi. Watching this I want to use her again. The distance crossing of her skill is indeed very valuable

Her Reverse Melt Team is one of the few all 4* teams which is very high dps and used in most all 4* abyss clear challenges.(along with Sucrose Taser)

Her last constellation makes her ideal support for Eula since she can give her crit rate, physical res. shred , and battery her as well.
I tried nuking with her and with my build she was able to do like 140k burst total(melt obviously)
Can we just take a moment to appreciate her absolutely broken attack talent scaling stats? They're the highest of any polearm character and with some infusion (like pyro from c6 bennet) she can become an absolutely busted main dps since her CA has no ICD, pair her with Xinqiu, or even her own skill and burst and she'll melt and vape every single one

I've seen her value and used Rosaria for a while too.
That said, Every Character is awesome. When we take the time to build them properly. Building and ststing according to their skills, values and cons.
It's gets easy to fall into certain builds that work for another character, or a few other characters.
Rosaria carried me since I pulled her on 2.3 when I am new in the game. Now, she is one of my main DPS that carry me through abyss.
I’ve been using her with wanderer and she’s amazing ❤ she was my main when I was low ar and now I’m working on fully building her to be my sub dps/crit support.

I've yet to raise her but she is great on my second account. Freezing those enemies is so fun with Barbara, Kaeya and Rosaria with Geo or Anemo Traveller as support.
Although i dont use Rosaria much, I've tried Burning melt with her before (cause she s the only good cryo dmg dealer i have built) That being Rosaria/Nahida/Bennett/Kazuha. And that Team is absolutely cracked. 40k burst melts with my Decent-ish build is nice

I use her as a main DPS on my freeze team with Mona, Kazuha and Barbara. To this day, I still remember being excited about her being a polearm, because my first 5* weapon was Skyward Spine, which ended up working really well on her. Ended up getting a bunch of broken Blizzard Strayer artifacts too, it was destiny.
What I love about her so much is that she doesn't need as much CR as the other characters, though you could still go for it for the sake of her ally support passive. With Cryo Resonance, Blizzard set and one of her passive skills, reaching 100% CR is very easy, especially on freeze teams.
Still mad that she got nerfed a lot over the years design-wise. I miss the old Rosaria.
Her, Xiao, Child and Sucrose got me through Mid game. Awesome someone else saw her greatness.

Very useful, she was the first character I ever got apart from Noelle (and the free characters ofc) and I've been using her as an on field physical dps for a long time. Looking to try new things now though.

finally got rosaria after THREE GODDAMN SAYU PULLS! now I can finally use her and this guide was helpful.
As someone who mainly uses reverse melt rozaria team and did a lot of testing here are my thoughts :
I can say that shenhe is really really good on that team. I dare say she's the best cryo flex because of her synergy with Bennet is simply disgusting. Also i haven't tried yet but pretty sure you can use kazuha instead of xiangling because rosaria burst pushes enemies outside, grouping might do well but i still use xiangling because she's just good. As for weapons she gets a lot of mileage out of dragon's bane when you have good pyro application which you tend to have in that team. + In a reverse melt, all your melts matter so instead of emblem i would really run something like gilded or lavawalker. You generally don't have energy problems so i think anything related to er is just wasted on her. I can say it's a team that gets better and better with more investment.
You're entirely right with the last comment of investment. Reverse melt has some insane damage ceilings with Staff of Scarlet Sands (as another person commented) and Dragon's Bane. Feel bad for skimming over those options but there was so much to cover and I wanted to emphasize the flexiblity of Emblem, haha.

I know it looks and feel that way and im sorry about it. I was thinking more about the what other options are there line of thinking. But at the end of the day with enough investment and well thought builds anyone can clear abyss 12. I think your suggestions were very helpful regardless and i do respect them +happy to hear them. Thank you for making this vid! Rosaria is crazy good and it's insane how many players say otherwise. They just don't know how to build her properly. While she is no top tier unit like Ayaka or Eula, my Rosaria hits super hard and enough that I would consider her a low tier 5*. Of course, mine is C6 so....that does boost her overall value quite a bit.
Anyway, grade A stuff! 👏
just another thing to mention: dragons bane is quite a good option for Rosaria (only in rev melt teams) as she can make use of the passive of the em. so its a viable option. also shenhe is a very adequate (and best) teammate for reverse melt rosaria along - and kazuha can replace xiangling similarly to how jean does.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fridge teams actually only consider the Hydro/Cryo/Dendro units and bringing a Electro/Pyro along is a HyperFridge comp and whatever the garbage Burgeon teams are considered. In fact most pure Fridge teams incorporate a resonance or bring an Anemo character for VV shred and EM buffs.
HyperFridge works because you don't lose the Hydro or Dendro application immediately if Electro hits before a bloom is created, and Rosaria does in fact make a pretty good choice for your Cryo character.
With Thoma/Xinyan... you basically can't bring DMC because you risk blowing up your burst and removing your prolonged Dendro application. In addition of the Pyro eating some of the Hydro/Dendro applications making it a lot harder to make cores. Managing all of this in a comp without Hydro or Dendro resonance to make the core generation more reliable is just not worth it, adding that Cryo unit and making it a BurningFridge is just not worth it.
For a support Rosaria, I gave her an R5 lvl 90 white tassel, er sands for burst uptime and crit rate circlet and boy she had an 78 crit rate, great for utilizing her passive to the fullest.

Favonius Lance have so much synergy with Rosaria i would even say that is her signature weapon

>Rosaria's E hits twitch which means you have TWO separate chances to trigger the Lance passive every E cast
>Rosaria is incentivized to build high crit and even have self crit buffs, combined with the previous point, it basically double dips on the Lance proc every E cast
>Having almost guaranteed fav lance proc every E cast, means she basically doesn't any more extra ER beside from wweapon, hence point 1

Rosaria is a good Sub-DPS plus buffs Eula. Giving her Crit Rate with her Passive and Cryo Resonance +30% Crit if you could reach the threshold. Then you got Physical Resistance shred with her C6. Plus Insane energy particle battery.

I'm using the missive spear on her, was kinda surprised you didn't mention it for melt setup as I think it's her BIS right now
Something to mention as well is that she is one of if not the best 4 stars to get early on since she can also fill the roll of main dps,sub dps and support up till pretty late game and you can just play her with glad till you farm for a real set for her.
And if your account is like mine and lost your 50/50 on ganyu and didn't have primos for ayaka so you dont have a good main crryo dps for 4 stars options there is only really 3:keaya,chong yun and rosaria ofc. Rosaria is your best bet for abyss if you need a cryo main dps. While you still can use keaya or chong yun instead I find that in keaya's case I like the longer attack range of a spear better and if you compare kit's with keaya is clearly more meant as a support and not a main dps and as for chong yun's kit it feels clunky to use and while generally a under rated unit he just is as flexible to use. Rosaria has carried my ass through floor 11 room 3 a bunch of times.
She's a lovely main physical DPS as well. As a filthy casual I use her on crowds of enemies, with Bloodthirster's Pale Flame, the same way I use my Physchl for single-target and ranged.
Both use some (un)lucky Skywards drops. Maybe I'll give her a break and let her rest in the benches, if Eula ever returns to the game as a wishable character.
Yes the crit is good, and she helped me clear those hydro heralds at lvl 20 with good ER
I play ayaka and got C4 Rosaria while pulling for her. Needless too say she has been a team staple since AR 20~
I like to use her with wanderer just because of her crit rate buff and his passive, its 15% from Rosaria (i'm rounding the number because mine only has 96% CR) and 20% from wanderer passive, so 35% and with buff food you can make a build with only CD, it's nice for a damage for screenshot build
Honestly I just gave her a 5 star weapon and pair her up with my favorite healer Barbara. And my traveler with lighting. Pop Barbara’s heal bring Rosaria out and freeze everyone and take my time flattening them if I need more damage fast freeze then bring in traveler for lighting and just watch the enemies disappear. Currently working on shogun I am currently lacking the exp books to bring her level up to meet my traveler. And then I can use him for something other then electro. In the mean time Bennett for the 4th spot as fire damage for melts and support.
I've been saying this for a while. I plan to use her with Eula to give her extra crit, boost her physical dmg and provide cryo resonance
She is my main and im still new to the game, and i got her to c2 for now. I will wish again before the end of their banners.
Update: I just learned that Rosaria + staff of scarlet sands (Cyno's BiS) is insanely good. 200k burst. Another fun fact: she is one of the last released characters to snapshot. And we know how good snapshotting is based on XL.

without superconduct physical wont do much, specially agaisnt any ruin type enemy with high phys resistance, that crit ratio is a little unbalanced too. I sometimes swap my Eula artifacts to my Rosaria/Fischl just for fun, its not bad

Im f2p and i main physical jean. Rose and bennett are both essential in my team comp. Right now im using fishle as my electro for super conduct reaction.
Super conduct, rosaria c6 skill, bennett buff. My jean can do 70-80k physical damage per charge hit.

Agreed, I’ve been using her to superconduct for my physical lumine (she was physical a few days ago)
She worked against lvl 80 opponents even as lvl 50
i've been using her as main dps since day one and her team outdamages basically everything else i have, from National team with Xianling to Yoimiya team. Only thing i know that surpasses her is Morgana if you're fighting many weak opponents, but for tougher guys it's definitely her.
And people have been telling me i must be lying for years.

I have her triple crowned on my main (don't have an alt haha) and she's so, so good. One of my favorite characters in the game. My only other triple crowned characters are Zhongli, Fischl and Kokomi. I love them all dearly.
Two of my favorite teams with her are on field melt and as superconduct support for physical Fischl or Zhongli.
edit: FINALLY someone pointing out you should use her elemental skill immediately before using her burst. I never see anyone doing it in that order in video showcases or spiral abyss videos. More often than not people use her burst before and skill after. I swear, it seems like people just do not read what their characters do...
edit 2: I'm surprised you didn't mentoi Dragon's bane for melt teams. It's my go to and it's an amazing weapon that allows her to still keep an atk% sands.

Shattering Ice (dual cryo) give 15% crit rate + Shadow Samaritan 15% crit rate (with 100% crit Rosaria), you get 30% crit rate buff.
I might try that fridge team, I've been running mainly Rosaria/Xingqiu/Fischl or Collei/Heizou, but i have a decent Xinyan i can swap in

I have her at lvl 70 C6. I don’t use her a lot, but she’s pretty darn good. I like her playstyle too. I wanna fully build her one day. And I can just swap Jun Yins fav lance cuz I don’t use her at all.
(I have fav lances on Zhongli, Yun Yin, and I have one extra lying around at lvl-1 so I’m not lacking on the weapons side of things 😅)
One of the best thing about Rosaria with XL. No matter who trigger the vape, you profit anyway.
