I am a die hard fan of Tai. I have her 4 recordings of Yaman in my possession, the earliest being of 1962 All India Radio National Programme when her voice was raw. Since then she had come long way with maturity and command over her voice as revealed on this presentation and reaching the pinnacle. Triveni sangam with Sarangi and Tabala Maestros was superb.
Finally, history is letting loose some of its treasures ... divine !!
Listen to this rendition by Kishoritai undisturbed, and you 'become' Yaman, everything around you becomes Yaman.. it's just unparalleled... and the Sarangi by Ust. Sultan Khan is just out of this world... many thanks❤
A careful listener can easily bifurcate this rendition with other available recordings .....here tai has tried to sing like A sarangi ...with been ang.....excellent meends and brilliant alapi.... She is just incomparable .... अदभूत .....अवर्णनीय ....just 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

'GAAN SARASWATI' what an apt adjective. This rendition of Yaman is superb and when you listen wit attention you can make out that Kishoritai has attempted to sing like the Sarangi. What a combination of three greats on one stage. Yes must compliment the sound recording engineer too, absolutely crystal clear recording of this gem.
The coming together of these illustrious makes this performance legendary! One of the best Yamans ever, if not the best (along with the mother of all Yamans performed by Zia Mohiuddin Dagar)
I was gonna object that you see this as the best until I saw your final remark about Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar.. yes this and Zia's recordings are both up there, JUST STELLAR.

For those of you who haven't yet come across it, here is Kishori tai's peformance of Yaman from 2003 which is very similar to this recording and brings me to tears every time I watch it: ua-cam.com/video/_PuGbz416u4/v-deo.html. Buy I have to say, having now heard this performance all the way through I don't think the 2003 performance can compare to this.
