In the case of firearms..it has to be declared to the airline well in advance..fill a form and declaration at the airline counter on the day of travel at the airport.. the firearm cannot have ammunition in it at any given time during travel..license of the firearm has to be carried at all times :)

Nowadays it's off season so you can book a day before as well. I booked yesterday and travelled from Delhi to Mumbai today in 5k

I do not have much idea but do carry in check in baggage, there won't be any issue on medicines.
What ID do we have to show while crossing the area of check-in? I have not found any ID as such online after booking the ticket. Do you mean ID like Aadhar card?
