The new field initially felt like an away game, and the fans felt like pressure instead of encouragement. 50+ games later, all is right with the world. I'm still worried about my girl, Cyd Sanders: 1-17? but the hit to LF was solid. Maxwell is not Jordy, but she's got just enough to hold a good team back... not keep 'em down. Just hold 'em back. Besides, walking Edenfield is a good thing! You don't give that hitter a chance! But that's my point: I don't think this year's FSU is as strong as last year's. OU is stacked with 5+ consistent homerun hitters, while FSU has 2-3, maybe a 4 - sporadic at best - Edenfield, Beachem, and sometimes, Harding. Conversely, we EXPECT at least 2 of any 5 SOONERS to hit a home run in ANY game! ...And when they don't we question if the world is turning in the correct direction. Go BRITO: 3-3 with 2 home runs! Anyway, this win gives encouragement for the rest of the series into the championship. Go SOONERS!!

Weak pitching and errors cost the Lady Noles this game. Only the Texas Longhorns stand in the way of another Sooner national championship. Thanks Matt! You are the best.
