Nice cranks! Just an FYI, your Wolftooth chainring is a 'Strop Stop ST' which is only compatible with Shimano HG+ and KMC chains and no other 12 speed chains per WT.
Most likely those cranks are not 7000 series aluminum but 6000 series. The threads will probably strip out on the pedals. They will bend or snap. Note that they won't break right way but a few months down the road. All legit cranks go through pretty crazy testing on machines for days. Also adding a knock off part to your frame will 100% void the warranty.
@@henr1k5 Saving money is the name of the game, so long as the quality is there. I’ve been using the Evosid cranks for about a week now, and I can’t complain.
@@KiwiInGermanyMTB Most definitely. In fact I’ve done five full rides with it on blue trails and 2 black trails and haven’t had to adjust anything. I’ll also be riding at Spider Mountain in Texas in two weeks where I plan to shoot a video.
baught these for myself, they look amazing and arent far off from that premium 5DEV quality! Super happy this brand is getting some recognition!
@@MattsMTBworkshop I don’t mind buying the namebrand parts, but when the offbrand parts are just as good if not better… You can’t lose

@@ThunderStruckMTB thanks bro, I’ll take it back to the store. I was having a hard time determining whether it would be compatible with my chain.
@@robh2312 The bike industry makes things way too hard that's for sure!

Let these guys all learn the hard way. Broken frames, broken ankles, thousands in hospital bills.
You may be right, but I won’t know unless I try it
Geez shut up 😂. Acting like you work for 5dev or something defending their cranks. That shits overpriced and everyone knows it.
It´s 7075 aluminum
keep telling yourself that!
Great video
I bought Miranda cranks and saved lots of money

Can you comment again in a few months and let us know if it's all still good?

@@delnayelan The Evosid cranks look good and I haven’t had any issues at all.
Gold chainring looks awful, like a gypsyism. Silver looks amazing.
@@sergey_lukyanets hahaha might be time for a replacement. I was debating between the silver and gold.
