In game two, given the choice between Bottomless Pit and Dystopia, I would have probably gone for Dystopia... Anyway. Nailbiting stuff! Fun to watch! 👍
@@morikanti my thinking was that sacking one permanent per turn wasn't going to hamper their board state too badly at that point. I've played games where dystopia does next to nothing especially when they have a Survival loop going but you might be right that getting that out and then slamming the pit next turn could have been more optimal. My guess was that with an extra turn free from the pit they'd just rebuild their hand to a point where it didn't matter. Maybe that one was close
@@phonewifey I totally agree. At that point in the game, Dystopia was probably too little too late. I'm just saying that I would have (again, probably) gone for it anyway, instead of losing it to the Pit. But that's just me. I find it quite enjoyable, to watch an opponent have to sack a permanent every turn, even at the expense of Dystopia's cumulative life upkeep. Mental note: got to find a way of fitting some copies of Braids, Cabal Minion into my Pit Rack deck!. :D
@@morikanti yeah, exactly, in 99% of scenarios you'd wanna slam the dystopia first but that game was gunna be very tough to get back into. Only thing I can think that would've saved me was knowing to name Survival first with cabal therapy and keeping the cabal pit after the mull and bottoming something else. Great game tho, this is one of my fav so far that I've uploaded
@@phonewifey Great game indeed, I had a blast watching it! Keep 'em coming, I'll watch them! As for the Bottomless Pit/Dystopia decision; I agree, very difficult to pull that game back either way.
