Merci infiniment de sortir Jean Cras de l'injuste oubli dans lequel il est tombé. Son oeuvre magnifique, inspirée et très originale mérite d'être largement diffusée !!
Very happy to discover these lesser-known but highly evocative pieces. 9:08 - 9:27 reminds me of the intermezzo section of Rachmaninoff's Corelli Variations, written almost 15 years later.
Agreed. I was less familiar with these works when I made this video, and after becoming more acquainted with them I would certainly choose either Dubè's or Jacquon's recordings instead. Perhaps I'll remake it sometime ;)
@@alfredocastella Sounds good. Who knows, maybe I'll make and post my own recording of these fine works. Regardless, thank you for introducing it to me. Always on the hunt for new, lesser-known interesting music.

Convenu! Je découvre tout juste ses œuvres et je suis impressionnée!
THANK YOU for uploading this with the scores!
Amazing pieces!
Thank you, it's great!
Amazing
This is really beautiful. There has to be more by this composer?
i would HIGHLY recommend his harp quintet if you haven’t come across it already
Give "Âmes d'enfants" a listen. So good!
For piano solo, "Poèmes intimes" are pure masterworks !

The F# major arpeggios that follow soon after (at 9:27) remind me of Liszt’s Bénédiction!

It does sound like the intermezzo. No need to be an asshole, you don’t even have to pay a fee to be nice on the internet
@@pineapple7024 Not even remotely.Don't give your nickname away.

Where can i get the music sheet?
musescore i guess
The music is good. The playing, less so. Left a lot to be desired. For one thing, it's too...cautious.
