I broke my spine and had a lumbar fusion in 2018 that failed. Im in chronic daily pain because I cant get pain meds. I recently "saw the light" and decited to convert to Eastern Greek Orthodoxy.
Im low in energy and spirit but what I have left I want to give to our Lord.
I can’t imagine the pain you have gone through. May God help you and be with you through your pain.
@@paisiostheathonite ive been running off of a old plains Indian proverb (I belong to the MHA Nation myself).
It goes; "The Great Creator gives his hardest battles to his strongets warriors."
Im sure the Bible has its own proverb like that, I just haven't gotten to that part yet.
That’s hard my friend. I pray things get better for you.
I was in a wheel chair for a few months from a back injury and my priest told me to pray and visualize as if I was already healed. So I imagined myself at the park doing cartwheels with my son and running around.
Would you believe it finally started to improve dramatically and not I’m back in the gym lifting weights getting back to strength again. The pain and stiffness is always still there if I bend or stretch particularly.
Just keep praying. God has a plan for all of us. We just don’t see the full picture yet.
