After replacing screen, I noticed the screen closes easily and doesnt hold firm when opened. Do the hinges adjust so that when it closes, it can be firm and not just flap down like its lightweight. The screen does not wobble, I know it's not the 6 screws that hold the hinges.
I don't know of a day to tighten that. I think it's a welded bolt. I tried tightening them on a few screens before, but it doesn't budge. You'll want to contact the seller. Might need another replacement. :(

I just had my daughter's screen replaced, purchased from Ebay, entire top cover and I had a local computer store do the actual replacement and now she can not adjust the brightness. Very helpful presentation. Thank you! I didn't have a T5 screwdriver and I accidentally stripped 2/T5 screws at 11:05 @ 11:34 on the tutorial. I tried a rubber band, crazy glue and tin foil. Nothing is working. How do you remove them?

Where can I buy a replacement screen for model A2195? I need mine replaced and this will save money for sure
I think I answered this earlier amzn.to/3sQ2kxN
Hi, great video! I was wondering if after you installed the new screen did anything happen to your data? Did it boot up the same and show your regular login ? I have iCloud but I’m scared
No data issues
does anyone know the best places to find to buy the screen/parts for replacement . looking to urgently get this done . awesome video man!

Thanks for the video. After following the steps, it cannot be charged. However, it can be turned on with the charger. Do you have any thought that anything may go wrong? I think it might go wrong when I pulled out the cable as you mentioned around 2:59. Could you explain a little bit about what the cable is used for, and any thought for any solutions? Thanks.
Sounds like you didn't reconnect the small ribbon cable properly. Watch more of my 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 battery replacement videos for more examples of how to reconnect it. Also, make sure the metal tab is connected properly.
@@ItsBinhRepaired Appreciate your quick response. I fixed it this morning. You're right. The small cable was not reconnected correctly. I need to grasp the plastic head above the mental end, and pulled it firmly after the mental end was inserted into the initial place.

And the last 2 day nothings is always black. I wont to know if you have a vidéo to fix this problem my self and if is any part to chsnge please tell me more about it. Tks you for your help.
That's called flexgate. Apple is supposed to repair it for free. If they don't, you'll have to replace the screen. :(

Is the A2159 screen the same screen used as the A1989? Are they interchangeable? The connectors look to be the same, thanks
When you search for the part it should tell you. Some are, but most aren't. The year of the model is also very important.
Hi! Thanks for making this awesome video.
My Macbook A2159 screen is cracked completely and I am looking forward to buying one from AliExpress. However, I am concerned about the Truetone thing. I have read in many forums that after replacement, the Truetone option disappears from the display options, and also the keyboard's backlight option won't work in many cases. Can you please guide?
You can confirm from the sellers. I found buying on eBay/Amazon I haven't had any issues.
I bought a kit from home depot that contains the .8mm and it fit big, now I cant remove the antenna screws. Can you point me to a site or link to where you bought that pentalobe .8 screwdriver please?

I bought two sets of precision screw drivers but my .08 and 1.2 dont work properly and im stuck at the LCD (.08 screwdriver) part have everything else any brand of screwdriver that is not plastic?? what are you using?? thank you so much!!!- Rich
Pentalobe 0.8 (P2) is only used to remove the wireless antenna bar screws. You need the Torx 3 (T3) Screwdriver for the small screen screws.
I broke the A2159 Battery Daughter Board Test Flex Cable. Do you have a video tutorial for replacing this part?
Battery flex cable?
After replacing screen, I noticed the screen closes easily and doesnt hold firm when opened. Do the hinges adjust so that when it closes, it can be firm and not just flap down like its lightweight.
The screen does not wobble, I know it's not the 6 screws that hold the hinges.
I don't know of a day to tighten that. I think it's a welded bolt. I tried tightening them on a few screens before, but it doesn't budge. You'll want to contact the seller. Might need another replacement. :(
This video is great. I am having trouble getting the antenna seated correctly. Any advice? I can’t quite see how you’re placing it.
Watch my other videos, they're all very similar with the antenna process
Hello, I have a Mac Pro 13 in. 2021 A2338. I was wondering, since my display is messed up can I buy a display from a 2018 or other year model and replace my mac’s display?
Tía.
Simple answer is no, but why would you buy a display not made for your device? Usually the sellers will tell you it's compatible if possible.
Question; does the screen come with the torch bar when buying?
Huh? The touch bar is part of the palmrest, not the screen.
Thank you for this great video! It gave me a possibility to avoid expensive repair fee at Apple. When I turn on my MacBook, the display turns on but it shows some vertical and horizontal lines. I suspected that only the cables connected the display and the computer base are broken. Is it possible that I only replace the cables on this model?
Vertical lines won't be caused by a cable issue.
Hello I replaced my screen with your video but the touch bar is not working at all. Do you have any suggestions?
Either you got the wrong model screen or you damaged the touchbar cable.
very clever God bless him
Hm?
Where did you get the screen from.?

Hello - I need some advice, please. I just had my daughter's screen replaced, purchased from Ebay, entire top cover and I had a local computer store do the actual replacement and now she can not adjust the brightness. The option is greyed out. Could they have not connected something, or is the screen defective? She did the latest update prior & didn't notice this feature not working. She called Apple and they did troubleshooting with no fix. There are a lot of comments regarding this concern from other MacBook owners. She has downloaded an app that will allow her to adjust the brightness but it's not the same. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Does the camera work?
@@ItsBinhRepaired Thank you for replying so soon. Yes, her camera works.
Since she can't adjust the brightness it drains the battery. Using the app to adjust the brightness doesn't save the battery.

Hi! I just damaged my lcd screen and I’m really anxious because I’m having online classes for college and now I don’t have a device where I can watch them. My macbook is exactly the same and I have warranty, but I’m a little afraid it’s going to take a lot of time repairing it. I need my computer right away and was wondering how long does it normally take to replace the screen and how much :(
Thank you very much and great work!
You can't attend using your phone? I'm not sure how long Apple will take. Usually takes me an hour with parts. Parts take 2-4 business days to get.
Apple will usually take about a week or two I think.
So what did you do?
Damn good video! But now my touchbar doesnt show up so im going to start over and hope for the best lol

Thanks so much for this video! I just did flexgate repair and used this to take it apart and put back together. I was especially grateful that during the rebuild you would say what type of screw it was.
