Fantastic work on the Bora, Juan. I love it. I really like the axle tips idea too. Always a pleasure to visit here to see what's new. Enjoy the weekend! 🍁
Whether it's a straight restoration, custom job or one with a lot a fabrication; you're videos are so enjoyable. I love the color green and this one was gorgeous. Peace & love, Juan.
Looks miles better all in one colour and it looks like the sort of colour that would be on a 1970's Maserati. Windows came up like new and the paint is like glass!
Gorgeous paint job Juan. Smooth and clean. And the lights are a nice sharp detail. Cool ideas using shoe polish and paper clip wraps. You are always coming up with something new.
I noticed you painted the base the same color as the body, and I want to do the same when I rebuild this car. I will use tips from you on other cars without even realizing it when I start building and restoring. Thanks always for all the positive influences. Safety and Sanitize! Have fun with your toys!
That turned out well, Juan. Paul Restorer has the ultimate axle fix with his clever machine, but your method is far cheaper and easier to implement; and the results look good!
I love this model and you did a great job with it. I did one some time ago in the same colour but I changed the wheels. I did not do a video for it though
I have this casting in orange. Yes... I will restore or customize it one day, lol. Anywho, nice job homie. The ONLY thing I'd jave done differently? A wheel swap 😺
Lol, ive used the paper clip hub nut trick a few times, tend to need it most on old superfasts where the original axle is either rusted up to buggery or gets bent to the point that it will never go back into its original shape. Works well, although i like to put a dab of superglue on mine as the plastic sleeve doesnt always stay in place even when you heat shrink it. nice work there Juan, better than my Bora, which has a cracked windscreen :(
I pickup one of these a bit ago. stripped the paint 3 times now. keeps rippling after second coat. due to frustration put it aside and will get back to it soon. I have a dark wild raspberry color im dead set on using. any way you did a great job on it looks sweet that color
Wow! Looks so different and nice in green. One of my favourite MB Superfast castings. Great job, as always 👍 👏👏👏💯
Thank you so much Hugo

Thank you for color matching the top and bottom, the car looks great. I like your idea on the axles. I will be using that one. Take care over there.
If you do, put a dab of super glue at the end. Otherwise they don't last long... Thanks Weston
Trabajazo Juan! 👌👍👍👍👋
Muchas gracias Dany

You are completely right. I've had to use superglue on the ends as they stayed on a whole 5 minutes lolol

Nice job Juan. You think if I send you a couple of cars you can choose on one of them and build it for me? Maybe as a commission perhaps?
I'm afraid I don't do jobs/commissions for others. In the other hand, I've been thinking on selling some of my customs... We'll see. Thanks Jose
What kind of liquid is that where you put the windscreen in?
It's called "Pledge floor revive" It's just an acrylic varnish... Cheers mate
