I just got a hair Tanino Botox done and for now loving my hair.. but have to wait until I get my hair washed to see the actual result! hope it remains the same :) Here in India.. hair botox treatment is much more expensive than Keratin/Smoothening!
I have (had) fine, brittle hair. I had the purple hair Botox at a salon and it was absolutely fantastic. I since got myself the Nutree hair Botox and do it myself. It's far superior to Keratin smoothing treatment. If you wash your hair twice a week it lasts for ages and you wake up in the morning and don't have to do anything to your hair. It's fantastic.
Loved this detailed explanation you gave. One thing tho, as a black latina with afro hair, Keratin is definetly a better option for us and it actually lasts longer than a relaxer treatment. The initial commitment and transition from relaxer to kerating is rough but it is worthy. We just need a good hairdresser and someone we can 100% trust. My hair has changed so much and it is so healthy. Planning of getting Keratin only once a year and starting to do Botox twice a year.
I wish most UA-cam videos were clear, as concise as yours. Thanks very very much for breaking down the various processes, giving the advantages & disadvantages. I am Jamaican with 4C hair and went natural after 40 years of relaxing. I've been battling to challenges, keeping my hair straight from flat ironing and having to colour ( I use a demi colour, which my grays laugh at so I end up using color sticks in addition) I'm strongly considering Keratin treatment but wonder how the colour would work along with it. Thank you for explaining I will have to colour before doing the Keratin treatment. Question, can I use a permanent colour?
hello! i got a hair botox done yesterday and it definitely lightened my hair color which i dont like at all. It just doesn't compliment my skin tone. I wanted to ask if you dyed your hair after the treatment did the hair botox washed away more quickly? as I have read that its best to wait for atleast two weeks but again i donot want to go out with that hair color! sorry it got too long😅
The stylist should definitely explain to the client all these things! Yes, it will loosen your curl a lot, yes it will lighten your colour, yes, your blond will become more golden if your stylist doesn’t use the formula specifically made for blonds and highlighted clients. Yes, you can colour your hair on the same day. I have done and expected all those things.
I thought that keratin treatments blow the hair protein molecules open to get keratin in resulting in immediate appearance of strength and smoothness but in my experience my hair never fully reverted to original curl and eventually it just broke off. I loved the original blowout but the second and third results weren’t as good and eventually it all broke off until it grew out which meant for like 2 years I had shoulder length hair when my hair was down my back when I got first bb.
Straight hair is not always about white acceptableness. I have natural hair, I like myself as-is, my natural hair is GORGEOUS and I just got a keratin treatment for the 2nd time yesterday. My natural hair is is oh so cool and BIG, my keratin hair is Vanilla...sweet and plain, but sometimes I just need a break! What I like about Keratin is it is just a break. It took me 8 years to get super long natural hair. I know with a good sulfate shampoo I can go right back to my curls...and if I avoid sulfate shampoo, choride and alcohol, I will have smooth hair for months. THAT IS A COOL. Plus relaxers break the hair down and I think give me dead, lifesless looking hair after awhile where I have to do the MOST to keep it looking healthy. Keratin fortifies the hair and actually makes it stronger.
There is also a keratin straighting system. I did it by mistake and .... had to grow my hair out and cut my hair because it never reverted back. Smoothing system is 4-6 months. I think people need to know this.

@@Bekah_and_co_prohair I paid to have it done in a salon in Miami, it cost me $150, I like it way more than keratin, my personal opinion in having both is a keratin only lasted slightly longer, certainly not the 3 to 6 months that they claim. Realistically, hair Botox is something that should be done once a month, if you can afford it, or every two or three months for a treat.
You aren’t updated on the Brazilian treatments. The big names took out the formaldehyde quite a while ago. It was before the Covid shutdown days. Not sure when you ended your “salon days”, but I’d recommend getting acquainted with the current ingredients before posting recommendations. Since Brazilian Blowout has removed the formaldehyde, in my opinion it provided a very poor blowout. I will say in my opinion, it was horrible. I looked then for a brand with cleaner ingredients and better customer service, and found it. Plus it doesn’t stink like BB. Thank you for the video. I found some rather useful information here.
I did keratin treatment on a salon and it went away after 1.5 months. Now I'm looking into doing botox hoping it will last longer. It has been 2 months since I've done the keratin treatment, is it ok to do hair botox or how long should I wait?
Thank you so much for explaining the differences between the 3 different products. I do have one questions. What's the difference between Keratin treatment and Magic perm. I have always gotten the magic straight perm because I do have the thick frizzy unmanageable. Or is the magic perm also called relaxer?

I've also gotten hair botox done 3 times, and all those times it took away my curls. I have 3c curls and my curls would come back after 5-6 months of getting it done but it also took way much longer than that to get my curls defined to 100% how they looked like before. It all depends on the persons hair, and yes it was Botox not Keratin...
So I got the botox in June ,6 months ago and my thickeness and curl has finally come back not 100% but I still have straight pieces here and there.... and wavy pieces .... so I found that store bought hair masks, lots of condtioner ,moisture leaving it to dry with no heat and not combing it after i washed it helped bring it back we at 85 % not fully but it will get there
I have been colouring my hair and then doing keratin since this combo works and locks the colour in...but I now want to go for Botox since it's healthier for the hair..when do you suggest I should get the color? With it , before it or after? ..and would Kerastase products be best suited for coloured and botoxed hair?
