So excited to be supporting the team this year. The Rim Strip was developed for racing, and has continued to prove its worth on the circuit. Asa actually broke a rim at Nationals last year during qualifying, but the tire held air, so he didn’t notice. He qualified first, then raced on the rim to a win the next day. After the race he looked closer at the rim and saw the small crack. As a privateer who didn’t have a full race truck to support him, this was huge. That’s what the Rim Strip is all about - finishing runs and being a reliable system for riders, whether fully supported or on their own.
Neko, can you do a voiceover for a meditation app as well? probably one of the most soothing voices out there! if i wasn't enthralled by the info....i would be happily asleep 🤣🤣
I love following this story. Purpose built engineering. Owning the failures. Not selling you "the best new thing". Seeing what the dude has done for the scene with Kanuga and Rock Creek as well as the race series makes me cheer for him the whole way.

I got to talk to Neko at Rock Creek and Sugar and he is such a down to earth dude and hearing him say he was surprised that we love him geeking out I even told him that in person that I love his vids and appreciate his geekery! I am super excited to see what the FW team can do this year!
There has already been a lot of drama at the end of this season with bike companies cutting everything because the industry has hit a wall this is the one team that I’ll be following & wishing them great luck in 2024 can’t wait to see them out ripping it up.
Shawn and @NekoMulally , what a great interview!!! The Frameworks story is a great story of what makes America the best!! A racer wanted to see if he could do it, took his knowledge and studied up, then set out to do it. How can we not root for his success? I think this along with Pivot will be one of the most exciting teams on the circuit. I just wish that the UCI/ESO/WB/Discovery knew what they have in this sport. Jerking the riders/teams around with higher fees without a successful ROI is scary for 2024. Good luck to Neko and Frameworks on this new season. By the way Logan, you are a filmmaker!!!
I am happy that Neko is vocalizing the progress of diminishing returns. The more complex a frame design, seeking advantage on every front creates problems all its own. Weight and price increase without tangible advantage across every front followed. Also, the ride shows a more rapid degradation as more things that can go wrong tend to.
Angel is a super fast racer. He has been flying under the radar since riding with Gwinn on YT. Nekko is amazing too and I love Windrock and his bike is dope! All the best to Nekko and his team!
VitalMTB - start a Go Fund Me campaign for Neko’s team. I’d venture to guess FW team would quickly become “The People’s Team” and folks would gladly support. People want to support the little guy against the BIG bike shops.
