Thanks for deleting the scam comment 😃 And thanks for your beautiful music ♥️ I was a tape trader in the 80's and the most memorable recordings I received were the 1985 Blind Illusion demos, the 1985 Legacy demo, and the advance tape of Reign in Blood, months before the album came out.
Thank you Mark, I hope you can release the Medicine Show someday. Already bought The Sane Asylum remastered CD. This album is so sick and unique. Greetings from a young french fan :) I hope to sing and thrash along live one day
@@markbiedermann7467 Yes sir. Cry of the Banshee, Destroyer and Glass Guillotine are all there. (World in Sound edition) Btw, Straight as the Crowbar Flies is sick, can't wait for the new album.
Love "Straight as the crowbar flies". Is this a track of your upcoming album? I can't wait to hear a complete new Blind Illusion album. Maybe with some live shows in Germany next year?? To this recorded song in 1979? Wow, so much ahead of his time!
This World that's An Illusion is on the Blind Illusion Ultimate Anthology 1979 When we were all 16 . That double album is out now on Cult Metal Classics Records out of Greece, not to be confused with Straight as the Crowbar Flies which is today's Blind Illusion. Yes a new album will be released Chinese New Year it is all recorded and close to mixed right now . Entitled ,"Wrath of the Gods"
@@glfriendliness9793 Oh shit!!!!!! Les Claypool 1978 to early 1979 Christopher Reed Olsen 1979 to summer of 1980 Les Claypool returns summer 1980 to 82 I think. Oh fuk who's next? Craig Maracich 82ish to 83 ish whenever we had keyboards Craig was on Bass Not real sure about the dates....Next uo for the Blind SUN SESSIONS IS MARK SEARLE ON BASS who then moves to Guitar for the Trilogy of terror .Bass on Trilogy of Terror and The Slow Death Demo is Gene Gilson.Les Claypool returns in 1987 to record The Sane Asylum. Also The Medicine Show. Next up on Bass is Vern McElroy in 1989. In 1990 ish comes Joerg Eichner on Bass and songwriting. The next couple of years it was Joel Paulle for a minute Evan Barnes for a minute then Blind Illusion went on hiatus until Danny Harcourt on Bass I think. The Demon Master years of killer Stoner Metal! Danny ut in alot of years on and off with Blind Illusion and is currently my Bassist for The GhostKings. After Danny comes Harald O Oimoen and the return of Progressive Thrash Metal. After Harald O comes Bassist Virtuoso Tom Gears.
@@markbiedermann7467 I wasn’t expecting such a lengthy answer. I take for granted how long ago y’all started! I do remember that the song credits on The Sane Asylum listed dates back to the 70’s, so I knew that y’all were of the old school Bay Area progheads!
this has one of the greatest leads ive ever heard
Way cool!!!
This cut has a 60's psychedelic vibe about it, (to me)..... Very cool
Fantastic rare gem!!!
