when i first heard the empyrean, i was like "well, ah yom and unreachable are pretty fuckin cool, the rest of the songs only have some parts which i like" but now, i love every single note john sings and hits with the guitar... i kinda had to get used to this totally new style of music, learn to love it, whatever. i can't express my admiration for this man, i would die if i met him. god bless john anthony frusciante, a man like no other.

The chilipeppers are more of a sing along partyband. Their music is a lot of fun. They have to deliver that. They do it good. -this music reminds of how wonderful it is to fall in love with a song and art and the world as a whole. Thanks to john for being thankful to art music and perhaps the world.
I'm not a fan of rap but even I have the sense not to think less of people because they're into it. I think John is absolutely awesome and right now, I can't think of a better artist.
There's so many deep and beautiful, meaningful RHCP songs. Look at My Lovely Man, Knock Me Down, Under the Bridge, I could Have Lied, Tearjerker, Transcending, Californication, Venice Queen, Scar Tissue. The list goes on and on. It's totally different to John's work, but no less beautiful.
Some of those songs were with Navarro and Slovak I believe but yeah his work with the Chilis is just amazing. Venice Queen live at Slane Castle is my favorite.
