Both scopes look sweet. The infiray shon at longer ranges I'd say ..but...noisy clicks is not great. Lrf is very very handy. Xm50 doesn't get much of a mention..narrower field of view due to 5.5x native mag...but...I suspect better image even with lesser sensor...but has 12, (skinnier than 17) pixel width. Accolade 2 bino give good field of view if used in conjunction. All the above allows longer range foxing.... The new Xg might push the parcel a bit.... Thanks for presenting an in-depth comparison.
Hi, thanks for your comments, The Thermion XM50 is now discontinued, in fact Danny had that very scope before buying his new Thermion 2 PRO. Here is one of his videos ua-cam.com/video/thU9FLtiw1E/v-deo.html. You are most welcome.
I been seriously looking at both of these online and what was a 5k+ iray is now on sale everywhere for 3k+ Whereas the pulsar is still 5k + if you can find one. That tells me Iray must have issues! I'm sticking with pulsar.
@@pepe65644 Global recession coming. People aren't spending so they have to move their product somehow I guess. I prefer the XP50, but the TH50 is appealing as it's on special in Australia as well. Dropped $1,500 AUD.
What distance would the zoom be used at? Perhaps 250, 300 or more yards? Would the turret clicking sound really carry that far at those distances, even on the stillest night? Seems doubtful.

The Bolt TH50 V2 turret does not make a clicking sound.
Your right!
