Some incredible deals, Jeff. Thanks for finding and sharing them with us. I have to tell you. Yesterday I picked up the Warrior 20V 1/2" drill at Harbor Freight after my Porter Cable died. I can't wait to try it. I went with Warrior due to your recommendation. Please be careful and safe on your Vegas trip. I'd hate to see anything bad happen to you! Thanks again! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
As of midnight, pacific time, on 05/29/24, the XTool D7S has dropped down to $366.99 BEFORE your 10% off discount code. I picked one up for $356.05 with tax included! Thank you so much for the heads up!
Your little EMF reader you could Ghost hunt. LOL
Thanks for addressing the flag etiquette. As a scoutmaster nothing irritated me more than someone raising the flag at a football game and raising it so slowly to try and time it to coincide with the ending of the national anthem. And when they lower the flag at the end of the third quarter they would drop is so fast because they were afraid to hold up the start of the fourth quarter. I am also with you on being a bad German I hate potato salad too!
Good luck fighting the flag movement and timing fight. The better fight would be to tell people who we honor today. Most Americans honor all service men and women today.
Thanks for the tip on flying our Flag.
Thank you for the plug for Memorial Day, and proper flag etiquette.
I'm convinced most people cannot read, even those that think they can. Average reading level is 6th-8th grade (depending on source) and things need to be written to a 3rd grade level if they are intended for public consumption. I cannot count the number of times I've had to explain to people that should have read, and sometimes I have to figuratively beat it into them, "that is not what it says."
Thanks for the flag education (and the deals).
Will be looking for a deal on the DeWalt DCCS620 12 inch XR CHAINSAW, preferably with 4 amp hr or better battery included. Used my neighbors the other day to cut down some smaller trees. I was pretty impressed with its capability. Great for smaller jobs that my Stihl saw was too big for. Hope you have a safe trip to Vegas and had a great Memorial Day with the family.
When my dog or cat has cone on their head, I call them bucket head .
Check your workpro wrenches when they come in. I got these last Christmas- ish (2022) and when to use the 15mm and found I received 2 - 14mm instead. Unfortunately it was several months after purchase so there was nothing I could/or willing to do
I picked up the mini chainsaw on your recommendation, for $30 it seems like a great deal. It’s nice and lightweight and seems to have a little punch to it. For cutting limbs I think it will get the job done.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
This poem is why you see almost every Canadian wearing a poppy [pin] from November 1 (just after Halloween) until November 11th. Proceeds from the sales of the poppy pins go to support veterans. "Lest we forget" is a serious commitment up North. I can recall Americans wearing poppies when I was a kid in the '50s and '60s but that tradition seems to have faded away. Another sad loss...
I know how you feel about road trips. Heck the next largest city to the one I live in is only a half hour drive away and I don't think I'd ever do it if I didn't have cruise control. Yet when I was younger a get up at dawn and drive until after sunset trip was no big deal.
500 miles behind the wheel is a *lot* longer than it used to be. 😂
Yep, Bozeman is all of 30 min away and I got there maybe half a dozen times a year.
Puppy Thumbs up. Oh and it's going to make it to 100° this weekend here in Vegas
I am not prepared for temps like that. There is a reason I moved up here.
Bissel little green is a great spot cleaner. Don’t buy a large standup carpet cleaner thinking you will clean your whole house, it just isn’t going to work, it will break, and the liquid tanks are going to be way too small. If you wanna clean all your carpets you will have to rent a large machine. But for small spot cleaning or for automotive upholstery cleaning this works great.
That Revvstork may be worth it. 2 batteries? 5 impact sockets? Might be an ok deal.
I have used my Topdon 2 times so far. The thing is, I have used it to help other people. One had a Noco (Nogo) and it fell flat on it's face and would not turn over his car. I had to bail him out!
I have a Motörhead impact driver….i got it off Amazon for about $25 for giggles. It’s ok…about what you’d expect for that price lol
Ivan at Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics is awesome!
if you don't own a lot of hammers, thats a great start to an addiction!
Dude , you didn't even try out the mini chain saw. How you going to recommend something you haven't tried? It sounded like crap when you turned it on. If ur going to push something you really should hard core test it. 30 bucks is 30 bucks....ya know
Dude 30 bucks know is a McDonald's meal for 2
Last time I made a similar comment, he said I was on crack.
If you want to "hard core" use or even test a chain saw, get a Stihl. People buying a $30 cordless just want to have it on hand in case a branch comes down blocking their driveway. That it moves the chain around and around is good enough proof that it will cut at least for a while, then the adjusters need to work.
I actually used a 10 inch cordless Ryobi to clear a huge maple that snapped and left a good couple thousand pounds of major limbs on my daughter's large old shed. How a 75 foot tall tree can make a soft landing on a shacky old building without damaging it, was amazing. Its fall was broken by 2 other trees maybe only 10 or 12 inches diameter each, at the end of the shed. The 10 inch cordless even cut the 18 inch diameter trunk at the end of the roof. Then it cut the snapped trunk/stump about 25 inches diameter that looked like it was hanging by a thread, but the thread was about like a 4x20 cross section of maple.
@@EfficientRVerI have the Stihl hand held mini chainsaw. It's a gutless wonder. I keep it in my Gator for small stuff that goes across pathways. I keep a cheapie Sakar I think is the name in my rtv. It blows the Stihl away. Of course the Sakar is 20v and the Stihl is only 12v.
The bear knows his stuff about some hand tools and drills, but has no clue about outdoor equipment.
I recently bought D9s and so far really good and quick for full system scan but have not used or learned special functions or key programming yet
Hey Red, thanks for working on the weekend to share the deals. And thanks for reminding people that there are established ways to display -- and RESPECT -- our flag. Currently, every highway overpass around Boston (I know, I know... crybaby liberals) features 4 flags and a sign urging us to remember "those who gave all." While I admire the intentions, those flags have been up for DAYS... and no one comes around to tale them down (respectfully) at dusk. It feels like cheap-ass, drive-by patriotism.
Hey bear. Any idea if the x-tool does e brake rewind to service rear brakes with electronic parking brakes. Been looking for one for a while that dose t cost as my car. lol.
I was expecting a mention of the new Gordon multitool at HF.
Review coming soon'ish.
I saw review on that one just recently. Short version: It's a Leatherman Wave clone for 1/3 the price, and potentially superior.
heads up, Lowes has major discounts on SKIL tools/kits. I have scored some very good deals lately. Get them while you can.
I sure could’ve used that stubby set when I was putting that ac blower motor in my 2016 Kia Soul! Ahh that was painful…
Happy Memorial Day Red! That mine chine saw is cool! Great for me! If I was not in the Ryobi line I would go with skil tools. They have a lot of good tools in there line. I have used work pro saw blades. The only good thing was the bag it came with. They were cheap and didn’t lest long! Thank you for the video!
Skip the stubby ratchets, get the thumbwheel ratchets instead.
No more discount on the xtool. But the price is $366.
Would you select the ArcCaptain over the HF Titanium?
I'd say ArcCaptian, YesWelder and Titanium are on par and I'd get whichever one was on sale.
Finally bit on one of the many mini chainsaws. I mean, $30 is practically disposable money.
Get the skill say used to be a house hold saying.
They too the coupon and discount code in the Xtool, but the price is $366
Make sure you use an American made flag
Links are off in the description. 3 of them are the same in a row.
Does it detect dog interference?
I think the VEVOR bandsaw link is incorrect. It goes to the Skil sander page.
Thanks for the heads up. I fixed the link.
Jay Lenos chin shine. 😂. Why is the pup wearing a cone of shame?
Eye tuck. He had to have a couple stiches to make sure his lower eyelid forms correctly.
@@denoftools I see. Don’t believe I’ve ever heard of that before.
@@B-Hez First I've heard of it but I trust out vet.
People only google what the Kardashians are doing. I bet half of them don’t know what Memorial Day is about.
The 787 is a good impact
I never see anyone do ACE hardware review any thoughts?
I've had some slip joint pliers that have done their job well, beyond that...
if you want to support mom&pop type shops...same stuff as other places just higher priced and if any coupon it brings it down to what you might find elswhere. usually better service people also.
I try to include Ace deals anytime they are good enough to make the grade.
Has the DIY Homeowner been sleeping on Skil Tools? Or is this just a random great sale?
Anker 521 is now $199, not $169 and the video was put out only a hour ago. I gotta be faster I guess?!
Yes, don't lower the flag on Friday and leave it until Tuesday.
If in doubt ask any first class or above boy scout.
How do you feel about flags flying on the back of a vehicle?
you really have to hate what a flag represents in order to put it on your vehicle, to subject a flag to what's essentially hurricane force winds on a regular basis is incredibly disrespectful , all youre doing is shredding it
As long as it's USA no problem at all
@@syrusdavyrus3522 lol so you're saying shredding USA flags is cool, cause thats what subjecting flags to storm force winds on a daily basis does
There are clear rules to follow to "respect the flag." If you can do that on your truck, good for you. But if you tie up for the night and just walk away and leave that flag in the dark, then you are DISRESPECTING our flag. The flag rules aren't all that complicated, so learn and follow them. Otherwise, your "patriotism " is as hollow as an empty beer can.
For parades and special events I'm all good with it.
Great video content….might want to wear a lighter colored shirt to hide the beard snow! 😂
Hello mr bear
Off topic. I got a 85 lb pit bull who we had to have a cone on and that thing was massive. He was bumping into everything and was breaking it. I went ahead and put a tick towel around his neck instead and taped it and it worked amazing. He not only could do everything he could before but it also kept him from licking himself just as good.
The price of those mini chain saws have dropped like a log! 🪵🙂
Nah, your flags should be permanently in distress right now...
❤
What happened? I thought you were anti VEVOR and I was good with that:
I'm anti buying from Vevor directly.
@@denoftools got it, I see Home Depot sells Vevor.
First!!
I just fly an Anarchy flag. Problem solved.
Doggo wearing the "cone of shame"
Your little EMF reader you could Ghost hunt. LOL
My daughter already stole it to do just that.
@@denoftools you ever try it ? Lol it's good cheap entertainment !
Observation: there are people who treat patriotism as a pair of shoes they put on. IF they "mean it", they would be an expert on all matter that's patriotic... they, like EVERYONE, just pick and choose what they are willing to do. Great example is printing the US Flag on boxers or shorts.
All i could think of on the band saw was putting the stand together, then you said it out loud, 😂😂
Mini-chainsaw is called “Imdum”?
it called "I moon"
If u got to use a scanner every day on your truck u really need a different truck
Love my Metabo 21° Nailer. It hits hard and never jams. I am usually a Dewalt guy, but not for nailers (Dewalt tips rust just in moist Air lol). Metabo 15 guage is also solid, pickup at Lowes last years clearance for $75 as "updated" models came in.
Amazon I don't trust them off brand of power tool😊
Do you know of any OBD2 bi-directional scan tool that is maybe like $300 or less? I have a couple of the Bluetooth ones, BlueDriver is not bad at all but I want to be able to dig in a lot more then the ones I have can but I can not justify to the wife spending $400-500 on one. LOL
There are some tools in that price range that have semi by directional capabilities but the reality is that truly useful tools like that start in the $400 range usually
@@denoftools Okay thanks for the tip! The one from this video seemed like a good one for home use didn't it? Anyone where you have to pay for upgrades should be a good one. LOL
Wanted to let you know, I picked up the 4 HP Bauer sho-vac, to use as a dedicated vac for my miter saw, works great. Got it for the $44 price, made it even that much better
The sad thing about telling people to read is this:
We literally have unlimited information at our fingertips. People spend hours upon hours on their phones, computers and TV. Yet, no one seems to know anything.
Really let that sink in.
It's my life. Every single day someone posts some something that if they had taken 30 seconds to look up they would know it was just plain wrong.
