      I bought the up-2 and I was blown away by the quality of it. Only downside,I truly struggle to raise tent on my own. I have to rely on someone camping with me to help. This means I can't go solo camping. I am trying to think of some sort of strap which my feet could be used to push pole down while leaving me with both arms to push tent up. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

      @RBM-Outdoors_coody  6 місяців тому

      In fact, it has two floors. One thin is the default floor for summer time and there is also one additional thick insulated floor for winter time. They can be used together or one of them can be used. Both floors can be easily unzipped and attached again. And they both have Velcro slots for ice-fishing. Or you can open a floor partially to have more access to the ice underneath the tent. Everything is very thought out and works very well as verified by us and by many customers.

      Well, our tents are not “normal” tents people usually use to see and understand. Our tents fit the car/ATV camping niche. The most common products in that niche are car roof top tents (about $10K), small car trailers (campers: $20K-30K) and large trailers (very expensive and not for the wildness). The car roof tents and campers i) are only warm weather, ii) only for one, maximum two persons, iii) not well ventilated, iv) you have to cook outside, v) make your car significantly less maneuverable, less suitable for overlanding and much hungry for gasoline. The car roof tents and the trailers are not perfect for fishing and hunting. And yes, the price ranges for those stuff are given above. So, comparing with them, are our hot tents really expensive? Not really.

    Very nice tent. I didn't get to see what the back window looked like when lit. I'll be looking forward to when you take it out at night. My hats off to John @ Lost Lakes for giving me food for thought. In winter, he uses canvas hot tents in Canadas forests. After dark, with lanterns and other lighting devices in use, the tents looked like a large light bulbs from a distance. I could only guess at how visible it was from the air. One should know how much light and heat is being transferred through the fabric of your tent in a bug out situation. Keep your signature in mind if you don't want to be located or monitored.

    • @RBM-Outdoors_coody
      @RBM-Outdoors_coody  7 місяців тому

      Thank you for your comment. Well, as for the heat income and outcome, our tents of this type are perfectly insulated. They two layers merged in on one wall with a gap between the two layers which provides insulation. At the same time, the tents are equipped with the perfect and well regulated ventilation system. All windows are multilayer and are equipped with bug meshes, waterpoof transparent and sturdy film screens and dark outer layers. All the layers of the windows are zip-closable and openable. As for the visibility of the tents you are asking about, the tent are hidden pretty well in day time because of the camo color. In darkness, you can regulate the illumination and visibility. If you switch on good light inside, the tents look bright (indeed like large light bulbs). This isn’t just beautiful but this is also very useful when you or your friends return back from fishing or hunting at night. It is very easy to find the campsite in this case. However, if you want to hide yourself from the strangers, just don’t use a strong lantern inside. So you can easily regulate a tent from its very good brightness and visibility to complete invisibility.
      You can see how the tents look like at night with good light inside on our website and facebook page:

    Even with the skirt, you must dig a trench for the water to escape and not settle under or around your tent. I would go floor-less, it is much easier to live in.
    I kept hearing high quality, good material, well build which means it was not made in America.
    I did not see any attachment points for a tent liner, to bad, liners make tents extremely comfortable both summer and winter.

    • @RBM-Outdoors_coody
      @RBM-Outdoors_coody  7 місяців тому

      1. The tents are the BEST in the American and worldwide market.
      2. The additional trench around a tent is useful of course, but it depends on the camp spot conditions. The skirt works perfectly as well and in many cases it's pretty enough.
      3. The tents are MULTI Layer, including perfect liner inside. All layers are integrated into one wall that provides perfect insulation and easy set up.
      4. The same is about the floors. If you prefer to stay on the ground, it's your particular choice. The vast majority of the campers love good insulated floor, especially in a winter time.
      5. You should do proper research on the product. There are a plethora of videos about them.
      Have a nice day!
