  • Vladimir Kramnik's Behaviour Has Gotten Outrageous as he reports Tykhon Cherniaiev in this Titled Tuesday chess game played on chess.com, 19th March 2024 early chess tournament. Outrageous behaviour from Vladimir Kramnik in my view.

But “He played a move I would never think about in a million years” isn’t any kind of evidence, even from a world champion. It’s pure hubris to assume that you can tell a high level player is cheating, even from a whole game. It requires a concrete pattern of evidence to make a case like that.

as a young man who has been following and trying to find out, what it is about: civilization, humans, life, ... so basically philosophing about anything, back when i was single digit age, i was completely stunned how teachers could teach us: about the world, things in it, learning, civilization. coincidently, civilization 1 by Sid Meiers came out in 1991.
the concept of the game helped me to look at things in a much more simplistic way, i could start somewhere.
also back then on local German TV we had chess-nights.
and then? this guy here, behaving much much less mature than probably a few % of the society in an advanced civilization did, was one of the heroes.
and i had thought they would be 1000x more intelligent than me, having surely found out the aforementioned relations of life, civilization, humaity, things in it ...
and now as propaganda, the internet, communication have spread their way, this man , by his comments is so affected, so much non-objectively assessing the situation in "the conflict", i cant beleive it.
my hats off to Kasparow with his sharp comments. But what a behaviour, so leisure-like his mind has dropped to another level. and i dont mean "upwards"...
it is not only a huge disappointment. in single digit age, you shall overcome oyur emotions and start to train rational thinking. and he has dropped below that, is taking the things as his mind likes.
but, at least communication allows us to learn in this world, and i hope, anyone letting himself down to more "wishful" thinking, thinking the way after you feel, instead ofrational assessment ... would somehow understand and work hard on himself. being more objective is the only way.
and we see one thing: though the western world offers much more luxury and freedom (look at companies, culture, way of living) we still see great minds, attitude. its quite the situation, the geopolitical situation in a nutshell.
Kramnik could not accept what happened by his narrative and acted like that, which shows, that living under poorer conditions doesnt make your thinking more sober or better in a way.

Great move, but its not impossible to spot. White just weakened his Knight by going g3 and with Blacks Queen allready attacking the Knight and the Rook beeing only blocked by his own Knight its pretty obvious to check where the Knight could go to. Making room for the Knight with d4 isnt easy to spot but you dont need to be a super grandmaster to find such a move, if you ask the right questions.

Kramnik used to be world champ, so he genuinely was the best chess player in the world. I think as his skills have (slightly) declined and other much stronger players have risen in what is essentially the game’s golden age, his ego and evaluation of his own relative skill level never adjusted to these changes.
He still has the thought pattern of someone who thinks he is better and smarter than everyone else. So how could he be losing so much? Must be foul play, especially from other top players. Add in some old person anciety over technology and the massive shift chess has seen onto online formats (which warrants a fair bit of legitimate scrutiny, to be fair) and you have the complete mess of a guy that Kramnik has become.
It’s a downward spiral that his ego won’t let him recover from because he’s already decided he’s right, so anyone who is against him is either stupid or involved in the cheating.

Here is a description of DELUSIONAL DISORDER
    1. An individual expresses an idea or belief with unusual persistence or force, even when evidence suggests the contrary.
    2. That idea appears to have an undue influence on the person's life, and the way of life is often altered to an inexplicable extent.
    3. Despite their profound conviction, there is often a quality of secretiveness or suspicion when the person is questioned about it.
    4. The individual tends to be humorless and oversensitive, especially about the belief.
    5. There is a quality of centrality: no matter how unlikely these strange things are to happen to the person, they accept them relatively unquestioningly.
    6. An attempt to contradict the belief will likely arouse an inappropriately strong emotional reaction, often with irritability and hostility. They will not accept any other opinions.
    7. The belief is, at the least, unlikely and out of keeping with the individual's social, cultural, and religious background.
    8. The person is emotionally over-invested in the idea, which overwhelms other elements of their psyche.

noone would play that move against Kramnik. the website considers it an innacuracy. But its a brilliant move in blitz because its the way more complicated move to burn time, and the only one out of two moves not losing a drawn position. And its a trap and I bet if the roles were reversed, the kid would of took with pawn either losing the knight on the queen exchange, or losing the queen altogether. the more obvious move is the Kh3 check for the easier draw, instead of clearly signaligng to kramnik he is going for the flag. Now what is even weirder to me, is the kid not even concentrating on the game. laughing and joking with this chat acting confused on the Qg4 move, then looking dead pan on the d4 move as if thinking "got you" lol. The problem is its now acceptable to cheat against Kramnik for streaming content so all these kids like him who went 2-44 against 2950+ players in TT, playes extremely well against kramnik, its not surprise he is a streamer.

He is a former world champ, top 10 player for 25 years straight and 2nd ever to reach 2800. Top 3 most influential according to magnus. He is rated 3000 on the website without farming people like Hikaru and Hans. Routinely beats guys like Levon who won the american cup, Dubov who almost tied for first with Magnus in the recent world blitz, Fabiano who is having the otb year of his life, and meanwhile all these guys routinely lose to people 200 points below them who only have a 90% chance of winning. To try and explain that with mouse movement which makes very little difference, or premoves with increments, is almost laughable.
