Got into kpop after they disbanded and I remember reading a lot of comments saying how upset people were about ioi disbanding, so I told myself I wouldn’t invest in them since they were disbanded anyway (plus the fact everyone seemed so hurt that they disbanded so I didn’t want to feel the same way LOL). But one day I decided to binge all their m/v’s, live performances, variety show appearances, reality show, etc. and damn, it was 100% worth it but I got hella sad knowing that there wouldn’t be anything new to look forward to, besides following all their individual paths. I basically became a fan even tho they were already disbanded when I heard about them, which says a lot about them tbh. I miss ioi but I’m glad everyone is doing well with where their career took them. IOI FIGHTING.

In Produce 101, yes. I don't know about other survival shows though. I.O.I promoted about less than a year. WANNA-ONE promotes for a year and a half. Produce 101 only helps the trainees' careers to go further. Produce 101 is only a stepping stone. I don't know about MixNine, The Unit, Boys24 and more.
I loved IOI so much and my bias is 100% Yoojung! She just has persona that attracts me. From being cute to being a good dancer, singer and even a rapper. Can even carry variety show on her own!

Although I do miss seeing these girls together as a group, I actually love the music from some of the girls' own groups even more. For example, Pristin and WJSN both released some of my all-time favorite K-Pop songs in the last couple of years, and I actually love those songs more than any of the of I.O.I songs. But in terms of personality of a group, I.O.I was truly magical--maybe because watching how they formed from Produce 101 made the whole experience a lot more intimate.
