How to cut gemstones - Diamonds of Solomon

  • Опубліковано 28 тра 2018
  • This video is based on fun, fantasy and the legend of King Solomon's diamond mine. Clearly, the gem in question is a artificial diamond ( Clear Cubic Zirconia). All the gem cutting is real and the gem was cut by myself. Video and editing was also done myself. Hope you enjoy the video. Please subscribe.

That was fascinating. The process of taking a rough all the way to the final polish. Easier to understand on such a giant sample. Thanks for sharing this. Pretty cool indeed.

Wow I've never seen Cubic Zirconia in its rough state before. Absolutely a stunner with your cutting skills. This piece had more brilliance than an actual diamond. Love the story as well as the background music. Looking forward to the next video~~!!

That's a real diamond not cubic zirconia, this was from the ground, cubic zirconia are lab made, zirconium are real but never that big of a size, Almost 2,000 carats.

It would be great to see how smaller samples are done with such large gems it's hard to understand how small diamonds or anything is cut with facets and polished ?! Fantastic artist and obviously very difficult to do because it's the type of thing you watch knowing it's very difficult yet this person makes it look like anyone can do it ..............amazing work!!!!

I've found that cutting a table this way is the only to make sure that if something goes wrong I haven't lost alignment to recut the crown facets. Using the adapter, I totally lose the ability to cut the same facets.
