I cannot believe the scoreline considering Bosnia played with 10 men for more than half of the game.
Really? Couldn't believe the USA only scored 1 goal?

It's really not surprising. Look at the midfield: Acosta, Roldan, and Cardoso. There's absolutely 0 creativity in that midfield consisting of 2 defensive midfielders and the always useless Roldan. Once Bosnia got the red card and played a low block, there was no one in the midfield capable of breaking down a defense.

@@titot2896 As a Bosnian American, if you said this back in 2013 or 2014, I would have agreed with you on this comment. But as of now, if you've watched us play between 2018 until now, we have been horrible with the 90's kid generation. We hardly beat Luxembourg in a friendly 😂. Dzeko literally had to come in the last minute to save us from having a draw with Luxembourg 😂 !

Pepi has to find the way to finish that, no ifs or buts. I also wonder why they don't invite Djordje Mihailovic on USMNT squad. His touch and passing ability are head and shoulders above anyone on this team.

USA’s problem is pay to play, only the rich can play. Other countries if you’re poor you can play. That’s the difference, the money provides opportunity vs pure talent.

I'm a first generation American born to Bosnian immigrants. Great game to watch!
I mean this was horrendous from our players but besides Pepi and Turner none of these guys are near our top players (I know Acosta played but he should not be considered one of our top players even if Berhalter inexplicably plays him). Anyway you know with games its no win from our fan base. If we had won 3-0 they'd write it off because of how poor the opposition was and if we win 1-0 we get criticized. This game never mattered anyway. But yes we need to raise our expectations. I know in Europe soccer has been the number 1 sport for over 120 years and in the US it is the 5th sport and even 15 years ago was like the 7th sport, but this is the US, so if/when we qualify for 2022 we better not be celebrating it like its a big accomplishment. US Soccer needs to end the pay to play system, focus less on fitness and more on technique and developing creative players. And US Soccer needs to stop thinking that just qualifying for World Cups and getting to the round of 16 because our players play above themselves is enough. We need to see multiple Pulisics and American players at higher levels than Pulisic in the coming years. I think we can do it, but lets see what happens

Hopefully Bosnia doesn't use none of these players as well for the future. They should look for talent in Germany or US. That is if young people are willing to play for Bosnia in the future...
In all honesty , just pathetic . They played against 10 Bosnian tourists after that ridiculous red card and barely win in the last moments🙄 bare in mind , this Bosnian selection was scraped at the last moment from the weak national league and you can’t even call them H team , let alone A , B or C🙄 I get it, even USMNT wasn’t at full strength but at least some of them are being considered for the A team🙄 on top of that when I hear the “objectivity” of the commentators I honestly rooted for them to lose. I like the actual USMNT selection, young talents playing professionally in Europe that if allowed to play together consistently may actually have a chance to reach a semifinal or quarterfinal for the WC 2026 but what I saw today was garbage which makes me believe that the pool outside of the first team is very thin and USA has still way to go to become competitive on the world stage.
Yeah- a really painful match indeed. Not really 100% reflective of USA talent pool though. Much more to do with who the manager inexplicably rates, selected to play. Not just first team missing- but not even reserve/2nd/3rd tier euro based players. Even our best young domestic players were left on the bench.
USMNT is actually doing quite well for themselves for cup qualifiers, they do really well for a concacaf team

@@slavic3225 we still have a lot of high potential players beyond the 15 like Cole Bassett, Jonathan Gomez (USA/MEX duel national) Justin Che, Cade Cowell, Jonathan Tomkinson, Dante Sealy, Richard Ledezma, Taylor Booth, Kik Pierie (USA/Dutch duel national) Caden Clark, Paxton Aaronson, Gabriel Solnina, Alan Sonora and so on, I wouldn't worry too much
I went to the game and Bosnia did perfect with ten men and it being our C squad no Dzeko no Pjanic no Begovic no Ibisevic no Kolasinac Bosnians know what I’m talking about
First 30 minutes was intense but after Begic got sent off, it was all USA. They even tackled better than the Senior team which is weird considering that our team A is supposed to be the "Best". Oh well we suck nowadays...
BTW, Ibisevic retired couple of years ago from this team.....
