People who hate on her need to realize that she will always be more important because she is the Vocaloid that became so popular, she had a concert in America twice now. It wasn't Luka, it wasn't Kaito, it was Miku. I don't really have favorites, but I won't deny that Hatsune Miku is to Vocaloid what Pikachu is to Pokemon. I think it's appropriate that in ventures outside of the company, Miku is the representative. Miku is the most popular, the most recognizable, and that doesn't look like it's about to change.

Funnily enough, this ad is what introduced me to vocaloid.
I'd heard the name "Hatsune Miku" before and thought she was an anime character, but didn't look into it further until I saw this ad.
My 13 year old self was like "WHAT? Who is this??? Why is she in an English Toyota ad?" and dove into research.
Course, I came out the other end a Vocaloid fan and have been ever since.
It's really fun to revisit this and have an almost exact date to identify when I became a Vocaloid fan
