    Such a great reminder that it’s wise to keep up with current news that could greatly affect traveling. Your resilience, strength of character and a positive outlook is everything when plans don’t go how you expect them to ...and being a good friend means that your own friends are good to you ❤️ ~ awesome of her to find the dorm room as an alternative.

      I always try as hard as I can to stay positive in any situation! It doesn't make any sense to me to be in a bad mood. I was together with my friend who I'm able to see only once or twice a year and that was enough for me 😊

    Hey Mary,
    Happy visiting in Paris. I know that actually you are a talented tourist so no need to tell you some of ,,must see"s parisian places.
    What truely impressed me in Paris was Sacré Cœur, a very nice cathedral, calm and open hearted, perfect to recharge your batteries, beliver or not, and to admire the view from Montmartre over the city. Then of course, Versailles... well known and full of art.
    Currently, I will try to start italian lessons, so fingers crossed.
    You are a wonderful person and always stay positive, cuz thus you will stay strong !

    I reeeaalllyyy enjoy your videos. Very enjoyable to watch. I’ve never been to France or Italy. Italy is VERY HIGH on my list to visit. Just seems like such a beautiful place full of rich “historic” culture. France too but from what I hear they don’t like Americans. So maybe it won’t be as welcoming as other countries. Where in Italy would you recommend someone to visit if they would be mostly interested in experiencing the real culture rather than the typical touristy areas.. Also, have you ever been to the Canary Islands? I taught scuba diving on Gran Canaria Island and I really found it to be a beautiful super fun place full of diverse culture. Anyways, Take care!

    • @WhatashameMaryJane
      @WhatashameMaryJane  5 років тому

      Never been to the Canary Islands.
      I'm sure you wouldn't have big problems in France too. They just tend to be a bit snobby and they don't like to speak other languages than French, so maybe when they interact with Americans they get a bit pissed because you guys tend to not speak other languages than English, and they really don't like English. But this is just in general, there are tons of French who are just super nice with everyone. About Italy I'm very glad you asked because I'm sick tired of tourists coming here to visit only Rome and Florence and create big crowds in these poor towns that get suffocated by the tourism. The real Italy to me is in the countryside, and it's gorgeous. And you have zero crowds. If you need tips please send me a private email and specify what you're looking for exactly. In the meantime you can watch these other videos, they are vlogs that show exactly what you're looking for: local culture in Italy and beautiful non touristy places.

      Hello Mary Jane, a local chef is just someone who happens to be a chef and lives near the garden.
