I agree with you that Ange ou Demon is a masterpiece (and Organza, Hot Couture for me are very high up in my list too). It came from a time when fragrances were bold, and very different from each other. I wore Ange ou Demon when I went clubbing around 2010 and people loved it on me. I still have a precious bottle that sits safely in a cupboard. I still wear it occasionally but times have changed and unfortunately nowadays a lot people seem to prefer watered down samey scents.
Sometimes a scent goes out of fashion. But WE never let our scents go out of fashion. We just love them!!
Gabi…… I think Givenchy is my favorite fragrance house! I have several too……… they don’t make a bad one! 🖤. I love L’ Interit Intense. It’s so gothic. ( black bottle). 🖤🖤🖤🔥. I love you and Richard’s Asian decor. I’m catching up on all ur videos. I loved Ysatis in the 90’s. So Art Deco. Yessss!

I've decided to buy Ange ou Demon from Givenchy after watching this and other videos on it. It seems so underrated! What a shame but then again I don't want everyone knowing my secrets of smelling incredible. Lol.

My favorite designer fragrance houses are Givenchy and Thierry Mugler as well! L’ange Noir is my signature scent (for now anyway), so I appreciate whenever anyone mentions it. I am curious to try out the original Ange ou Demon as it sounds rather unique, and I hope to take a whiff of Dahlia Noir too, despite its being discontinued. Great video!

Organza, Organza First Light, Organza Indecence, Dahlia Noir L’Eau., Very Irresistible L'Eau en Rose, Very Irresistible Givenchy Electric Rose and Very Irresistible Givenchy L’Intense . Just like you, Givenchy is one of my favorite Fragrance Houses. Blimey, that isn't a cup, but a bowl of tea! Love it!!!!!

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am an upcoming perfumer and I was looking for a stunning review like this. I am stepping back in time to try and master the classic style first before I move forward in time. I made the Mitsouko and it is glorious. Used real ambergris and it has such a waxy combination with the peach essence. Reminds me of my grandmothers lipstick. Being across the pond is a shame. My family is Reeves. Originally from Languedoc but moved to Dorset. Your tone seems reminiscent like a scent that you have never smelled but triggers a past life feeling when you smell it. Jasmine had that effect on me. My son says it reminds him of elephant but reminds me of a home from way back. Anywho. Thank you for the inspiration. I will make a scent when I get home today with your inspiration. Which shall I try??????
I lived in Normandie but I travelled around the languedoc I especially loved Perpignan. Very catalan.
Perfume us art, and I love that aspect. It certainly does take me back to somewhere magical ✨️ ☺️

Magical setting. Givenchy is a great house. I currently only have L' Interdit and a vintage mini Organza. Thinking of getting a bottle of Amarige, big on my beloved tuberose 😉😏 Ange ou Demon is a masterpiece. I don't have it now but will definitely get another one. The name is perfect! Starts very angelic, very light and bright with the citruses and then goes to the dark territory of the Lilly. I love the drydown. The mood really changes, my devilish mind that loves to play tricks and have fun really comes to play 😂 Rouge is a no no for me because of the amount of sweet. With a very few exceptions I don't like, at all, sweet fragrances, and L' Interdit Rouge is one of them. Very nice collection. Like you, Dior, Guerlain, Mugler are my favorite french house ones. I also like Cacharel and some Chanel ones. Big big hug 😘😍❤️

I love Boucheron Boucheron, Esprit d’Oscar (Oscar de la Renta), Narciso Rodriguez Ambrée and Lou Lou by Cacharel.
I think Fracas is similar. I love any floral scents.
I remember years ago, i walked into a store and to my right was this mysterious looking dangerous looking bottle, this bottle was ange ou demon, i picked it up and sprayed some on my wrist, i fell in love and never looked back, just ordered another bottle.

Yes that is the perfect description for it, so dark and yet so light too, haven't been able to find anything quite as bewitching and beguiling since except maybe Alien, but that too is from more or less the same era, the only other one, more recently that i fell so in love with is yves saint laurent, libre le parfum, eye roll, first time i smelled it.@@thefragrantician

The reformulation of Ysatis was/is horrible. The original released in 1984 was my signature scent for years and I adored it. The reformulation(s) are so disappointing, I think they insult the house. Overstated? I think not, lol. I've spend hours and so much money chasing vintage Ysatis it's nearly embarrassing. Not one of ten or so bottles has been authentically vintage. I realize fragrances can't last forever but my nose (and heart) would recognize the true Ysatis. I could watch and listen to you all day! Such a lovely treat!

Oooh, I love it! I recently started adding more Givenchy (just bought Hot Couture EDP) to my collection. The 2003 version of L'Interdit holds a special place in my heart (have you tried that one?). My Mother had a bottle (long gone now), but I managed to track down a couple of bottles on the secondhand market for archive purposes. I also have the current version of L'Interdit EDP and L'Interdit Intense. They'll always be in my collection. Now I'm looking to pick up Eau Demoiselle de Givenchy, and just added Organza, based on your description, to my list. LOVED this! Thank you so much!
