- I had the opportunity to sit down with Nqobi Malinga who is portfolio manager at uMaStandi. They are a township backyard rental finance product called uMaStandi. They provides finance and training to develop an existing township property through building formal, approved and quality residential stock.

You described exactly my husbands story as one of your stories.. he bought a property, the contractor quoted incorrectly, but the builder are so good, but he's now sitting with a property with half built cottages.. and no way forward.. 😢 I wish he could get your help. Good question, that's a prevalent question, in Mamelodi, when u got a couple of properties gangsters take not ask take their stake in the form of protection fees.
But I doubt they know because umastandi only funds someone, they don't really deal with the dynamics of the streets.
