Awesome stream seeing ya'll together. Home made bread, spaghetti and meatballs, can't blame ya for wanting to get to that feast. So many awesome people in our quirky little fish world corner of UA-cam, and always so cool to see 2-3 together relaxin', chillin', shootin' the breeze and tossin' ideas and thoughts back and fourth. 👍❤️👍
Hey Lucas, Grant, and Dean! How did I ever miss the notification on this one?! Good to see you all together in one place. Finally watching this on Easter. 😊
Try building a fishroom on a budget from scratch in a garage with a concrete floor that is not level like super unlevel all over so you have to build stands and make them level on the spot and never move them or level everything corner by corner with peices of wood, coins, washers hahaha oh man that almost sent me insane. And so much still to do. I moved a big old school 50 gallon down the stairs on a trolley by myself it weighs more than I do I had to put old cushions and pillows on every stair and scratch build a ramp at the bottom. Im 5''2 tiny woman on my own giant tank im in front with it above me using my whole body to lower it stair by stair and could not believe it when I actually got it down unbroken. Tank was fine I did almost break my shoulder when the tank hit it. Thats what happens when I am really stubborn to do something.
O my goodness that’s dedication. My motto is safety first sometimes lol. They make the garage floors at a slope so water can flow out if needed. I remember in my old house it dropped almost 3”. I like the composite shims since they won’t deteriorate if they get wet often.
Hey brother remember Cory's video tour at Golaid Farms...? (Cichlid, pleco and big sailfin molly breeder) That would be a cool video for you to do to....! If you happened to find yourself in Texas... (I would love to go there..! Very cool system he's running)
I have a Fla trip coming in May & I'd like to come visit if I knew where you were in Fla, I'm going to the panhandle area Pens, Milton area. can't stay long in fla just like 3-4 dy.
Wish I could but was lucky he chose out of all places to go in fl to come to my place. We have monthly club meetings and my house is on the tour for them if they want. So maybe once a month once in awhile. But eventually when I get more set and have better live capabilities will do more talks like this.
Sarasota has a couple pretty good stores, Seascape Aquarium has been there since '78... Also, Wet Pets SRQ is a where I seem to go to the most. He's a really good guy and is more 'blue collar' than the others... thanks
@LRBaquatics a new one just opened in Venice, Shop Market Aquarium... They seem to have a lot cichlids, yesterday they just got a giant load of discus, some like I've never seen...! Can't recommend them yet, too new, but they seem like good people with healthy fish & plants... thanks again lrb...!
A wimp when it's 60 degrees out, oh come on Grant LOL. Come up and visit me here in NH, been single digits and below zero. 🤣 Nice surprise stream Lucas!
where I am in Australia there is only 3 pet stores within 2 hours of me and none of them buy fish from breeders no matter how rare, how easy to sell no matter what. 2 of them only buy from comercial wholesaler the other 1 will give a tiny store credit. Im currently looking into wholesalers and getting my own website my only option is to ship and in Australia that is not fun. It's a really crap deal.
Sorry to hear that. I don’t know why fish stores like that won’t support breeders and others that’s how you build the hobby, community, and economy of it all. They really are missing out by being stubborn. Hope it gets better! I thank god I made my own store. If packaged right they can live along time in transit. I have a video on how I do it. Just search LRB Fish shipping
I have never had success breeding them but have kept them. Someone told me they filled a 100 or so gallon trough up with water and turned green then put daphnia in it then after daphnia exploded they put pea puffers in like a group of 6 then they ended up with hundreds of pea puffers. I think they need softer water 100-200 tds
@@LRBaquatics sweet thanks! the daphnia i put in there seemed to be way too large for the lil guys so i am culturing moina and feeding them tons of black worms too. would be stoked to have an army of them.
Lucas looks JUST like Father Fish's long lost son.... lol

I agree 😜 what treat 🥁🐠
I just realized I have to move to Florida. It's the next progression in the illness. Goodbye cruel world!
Lol it is a fish keepers dream down here
Love the mulm talk lol
How did I not get this alert😢
UA-cam is really bad at that unfortunately
There's not many fish stores up here in NY anymore 😢🐠
That’s unfortunately becoming the case everywhere. Only big box stores left.
@@LRBaquatics It makes me consider driving 5 hours to go to DSAS! We'll see.
Dang missed the live!
👍👍
I left aquarium co-op because most of their videos of any value went members only..
daggamit missed it again. LRB have u ever kept or bred pea puffers?
