But just sharing a story din on job hunting as a fresh grad.
At first, hinahanap ko agad ay malakihang sahod. I mean some will say it's not bad to ask or look for a salary for at least 20k per month. But then again I lacked experience kasi mostly hanap ng companies kahit pang entry level, eh experienced na entry level. Labo diba? Welcome to the Philippines. So I changed strategy, naghanap ako lower salary to gain experience. So ayun nga kahit hindi ko linya ng trabaho pinasok ko na. Ayun during the course of my new work naka-experience ako ng Software Engineering particularly testing, tsaka ulit ako naghanap ng work and still at an entry level, nag apply ako na parang fresh grad pero syempre tinaasan ko na asking ko. And ayun nakatrabaho ko si Jerome, same company and account pero different team kami. But same platform kasi Software Testing kami pareho. Ayun lang, wag panghinaan ng loob sa mga job hunters na fresh grad.
That's so true, that's why andaming memes na lumalabas about sa reality for fresh grads na keso need ng work experience para maka-kuha ng job offer.
But hear me out guys, wag kayo sumuko madami opportunities out there. Sipag, diskarte, and tyaga lang talaga :)

Mahirap, very competitive ang Job Hunting lately due to Pandemic and other economic factors. So hopefully makatulong tong content na to sa mga new graduates.
This is so helpful Jerome. Dito ako sa “be open for oppurtunity”, i’m an IT graduate but end up working rn as a call center. But , no regrets at all this industry helped me a lot. Mabuhay ang mga call center agent diyan.

In reality, hindi lang basihan ang mataas na grades. You should also have confidence, grit, hustle, willingness to learn at diskarte 🤗
And make sure to make friends, mas me-enjoy mo ang paga-aral pag may kabigan lang makaka sama.

Nice vid. Question lng Jerome. I got asked this question a lot from freshies. “Required po ba iattach yung picture sa Resume?”. Ako ksi yung updated resume ko na pinasa walang picture eh haha pero na hired pa din. (past and present company) . Ano po take nyo dito? 😅

They don't need to include pictures sa resume. Mas advice ko din na wag na lagyan, just because hindi talaga siya important detail sa resume and sometimes it makes some sort of bias assumptions hahaha.
I highly suggest to just link your social media accounts on your resume like LinkedIn or Facebook.
