You’re living the dream, at least mine, and I live vicariously through you, as I’m cooped up in a little apartment with no place to park even one car 😅
You’ll get there too! 👍
Love sushi, y'all do an awesome job on the show!
I have been driving that identical truck for 20 years now. 400k and still daily reliable.
My favourite design of the F-series
When I was young & poor I wired a horn button into the dash of my '66 Chevy van to pass inspection--it brings back a fun memory. :) Also, having experience with trans, that tran is ready to disintegrate any second--stick the other one in asap.
Love it thank you for bringing us along 😊
Sushi..... good. wasabi.... good.
Ginger.... really good!!
Great grab on the 7.3.... best thing Ford ever made since the Model T
I love watching you guys on your adventures 🥰👏
Just A hint, if you double clutch when changing gears it will make the change a lot easer.
Agree. Also give it a gentle rev like u might with a road ranger
Soooo, with out sounding stupid, how do ya “double clutch” ??
@@pauldoitcheap4343 makes sense….. thanks for replying 👍
You don't need to use the clutch.
Double clutching is for beginners. Once you learn how to float them, clutch is for stopping.
Thank you guys always enjoy your content
Love all your content!!
Had a 93 F 150 extra cab that was a good Truck. Gave it to my Daughter Emily. Hoop there it is.
I absolutely love that truck!
Now that’s an awesome truck! Love that body style. Look forward to seeing y’all finish fixing it up.
Great watch as always guys 🏴🇺🇸😎
Got to love the sound of a 7.3
Now this is a fantastic purchase!!!! 🔥🔥
I love your videos and how down to earth the two of you are.
Can't wait to see you work on the truck 😁
Thanks...Enjoyed your video
Sushi and 4x4 OBS love all the way!
Sweet find! My dad had a 96 Powerstroke that I tuned for him. What a difference that made. I miss that truck and especially watching this video and listening to that thing rumble, it brings back great memories. Such a great sounding motor!
So glad I found your channel 😊😊
Nice truck! good work beast.
That's a great looking truck 👍👍🇨🇱
Emily Great camera work .love watching your videos fron UK x
I had a 97 f250 crew cab with the 7.3, it was the best truck that I ever owned
What a beautiful couple with an amazing life🙏🏻🌈🦾🔥🔥🔥
What a steal. All the parts are there
You gonna need a bigger shop! It's getting crowded in there! 😁👍
I'm so jealous, that truck is awesome! 😛
You kiddos really know your stuff. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you so much and God Bless.
Thats a very healthy family. Love your OBS. Best of luck with all your repairs.
Awesome video you guys!!!
Looking forward to seeing more on the ford OBS
I really like the sound of the 7.3 they just sound like they got in the power for days
Loved the shot coming out of the tunnel
Congrats on your new project i enjoy every minute of your episode 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That is one rare truck! Awesome purchase!!!
Great episode guys. I look forward to seeing what y'all do with this truck. A before and after chassis dyno test would be cool to see what your changes do to the beans in the old girl.
7.3 Powerstroke.. AND a Manuel Trans.. AND ?? a Solid Front Axle.... BIG Win..
All the toys are a bonus I wish my women was as happy and smiled as much as yours, you guys are great and God bless you both.🙏🇺🇸🌏
Looking very forward to seeing how this project goes. Mine is an 89 150 5.o. Same color. Keep having fun!
Finley looked so majestic sitting like a king on the truck passenger seat! :..and I'm glad to see he's out of his swimees.😊
Love the truck and it’s the California roll for me! 😋
What a great find and a great price. Trucks have gone insane in prices the last two years
These are such cool trucks, you got an especially cool spec since the Super Cab short bed is so rare. I have a 1995 F-250 that's very similar with the 7.3 Powerstroke, ZF5 manual, 4wd and Super Cab too. Mine is an Oxford white long bed truck but it's just what I needed when I got it. They aren't fast trucks at all unless you really juice it up but they're plenty strong, it can handle about double the stock power before some pretty serious things need changed out. Instead of the typical cab lights you should try to track down a Lund lighted visor for this instead.
The ZF transmission needs the shift timing similar to that of Eaton fuller 10, 13, or 18 speed.. Makes it much easier to shift.😎

A good base, this little black truck.
Aaron, props on bagging a stellar babe. I think you are not a trauma surgeon like all mechanics today. You make all work seem like a job you know the exact tools you need to leave the toolbox with. I hate getting up from the creeper and then back down 15 times before my first loose bolt. Emily, you have a truly magnetic way about you. Your fearless and adventurous perspective does not allow any task to not be a success. You kill me that you are sooo suportive in the garage and i would have loved to ever meet a babe that liked wrenching. You are cute and sweet and i would bet a BIG network deal would be in your future. You two are a great team and everytime i catch a new video, i feel like i am sitting right there in the garage on a milk crate drinking a beer. Your videos are edited very well and your back grounds are always well thought. I would love for you guys to have a 1 hour tv gig on regular tv. Thanks for making me feel like i am friend. You really have a great denearor . Love you, love your show.
That sure means a lot to us, Luke!!! Such a thoughtful comment, we always hope y’all feel like friends! We appreciate each of you watching, and the kind words are taken to heart!
Much appreciated 🙏🏼
-Emily
I had a 250 with a 7.3 and a chip with 5" exhaust what a sweet truck
Looks like a good solid truck. I'd keep it black but also think it would look good color matched to whatever it's gonna be towing the most here in Arkansas. Seeing the kid need a couple tries to jump on the tailgate reminded me of when I had to work at it. Hell I still do sometimes with my short legs, lol. Looks like a good back log of content cars and trucks to keep y'all busy this year so looking forward to what's coming up. Have fun and stay safe.
Always fun to get something new to work on cool truck hope Aaron dad has a great Birthday
Love that look black on black with the big tires great choice
Needs a front grille bar led. Lights. A roll bar and. Some. Flares.
I got lucky when I was looking for my Ford OBS.
Mine is a short bed 4 door Power Stroke. I love it!
Nice find on the OBS Ferd.
I've got a 95 F250 XLT 4x4 with the 460/E4OD combo that I use for RV transport.
Yes, you read that right. A 27 year old gas burning truck turning 10,000 miles a month, towing for at least half of those miles across the US and Canada.
Except for transfer case problems on one trip and a few little nitpicky issues, it has been flawless. I just need to make sure to keep lots of dinosaur bones and ground gravy to it and it's happy enough.
The best part?
Payments are zero dollars per month.
Thank you I love my Power stroke it was F350 4x4.
That OBS Ford is awesome
Wow! Crew Cab short-box Powerstroke 5-speed! What a great find! With all the parts you scored with it, this puppy's gonna be sweet! Congrats on your latest acquisition, y'all! And, sushi? I live near Vancouver, B.C., one of the best cities for sushi in the world! ✌❤🙂🇨🇦
Love the 87-96 ford f series, have a 95 crewcab dually and have my wife's 92f150 regcab long box she bought before we were married, actually used it for our wedding. Now it's rusty, again. That truck you got is like the holy grail up here in the rust belt.
So jealous!! Awesome truck.. I haven’t seen one of those but I see a bunch of the old Fords around here in Northern NC in the country !! Have fun with that baby!! I love listening to it!! Take care Mike
Hi, I love to follow your projects and that you throw yourself into it with exalted calm. I wish I lived in the United States.😄👍
Great find. Those have really spiked in value here in the Midwest. All of us 40 something farm boys can now afford the truck we wanted in high school!
Love sushi and nice f-250 tell lil mamma congratulations on her second win in soccer keep up the awesome videos guys my family and I love watching them
Sweet ride! I just got a great deal on a 01 7.3 powerstroke dually. It has a few issues, but I'll get her lined out.
Congrats on new truck. Sushi heck yes, that must have been spicy with all the wasabi. Love Finley swimming. Lol
Literally the one day I missed work and y'all came by the shop! Truck looks great glad to see her on the road!
You work at Burnett’s?! Lol! Thanks!!!
Lake Ouchita got filled back up after last night's (and few others in the last few weeks) rainstorms. Looks pretty full and ready for fun.
Those 10.5 sterling rear axle brakes will be out of adjustment again in about 3000 miles. I replaced everything in mine twice and the self adjusting part just never seemed to work. The zf5 transmissions almost always lose that lower gear synchros too. I just got used to shifting slower! That’s a great truck and it’s already Dana 60 swapped in the front! Love it. Hope it serves you well.
Oh and to add, you should find a way to register it in Arkansas. No inspections here. You could get some of finnegan’s junk legal to drive in this state.
We want to buy property in Arkansas! Now we have a good excuse!!
Annnnd we started shifting at a lower rpm and the grinding stopped 😅
@@flyingsparksgarage winner winner, chicken dinner!
NICE LITTLE FAMILY''==KEEP ON ===KEEPING ON''
I have two 1995 ford powerstrocks , that truck is really clean and looks good no rust very nice interior.
Got the exact same horn button mounted on my 98 Fords dash as well 👍
I had that same truck. with a 7.3l Turbo Diesel. Not for speed, but what a great engine!
I see it has a solid axle conversion already. With rsk kit! Nice. I have had few of these and currently have 97 f350. Just did rsk kit myself. When I did that my steering wheel was off like yours. I noticed that right away.
Great trucks. 7.3 last forever..
When it comes to investing, nothing pays off more than educating yourself with the right information from the right source. That's how you get rich.
You're right, that's why I invested into assets like cryptocurrency and some stocks
Stocks are good to invest on, but crypto is more profitable
Crypto is the new Gold
I wanted to trade crypto but got discouraged by the fluctuations in price
@@ambitiousadventure1791 You have to get more experience first, work with a professional like Mr Dave Jevans on crypto to guide you step-by-step.
That's what I did to make the horns work on my '56 Buick. The old horn contact at the base of the inside of the steering column was cracked, and new ones are unobtainable and require removal and replacement of the entire steering column, steering wheel, shift mechanism basically the whole nine yards. So yup, now I have that same black button under the left side of the dash where I can easily reach it. Works just fine!
Sushi and sashimi? Yes!
Aaron not using a jackstand under the back of the F250? No!!!!
He mentioned that someone would be upset about that 😂 he’s just always done jack stands on cars, not trucks that have plenty of ground clearance and wouldn’t crush ya 🤣
This is exactly what I'm looking for ... for my son Levi. He just turned 15 and has his learners permit. This is the year to find him a ride. I'm kind of fond of the 92' F350 long wheel base crew cab with the 7.3L. I've been looking for several years and just haven't found the right one, yet.
Like the OBS!!!! 👌
The OBS ford is a thing of beauty ! There is a house next to one of my jobs that has one just sitting there rotting away 😭 . It has been there for so many years, everytime I see it I wish I could rescue it and bring it back to glory !!
So much fun!
Cool truck.
Digging the truck! We have great sushi out here, Mikuni's is the best if you're ever out this way.
Good purchase! I've daily driven the same thing for 15 years only CCLB version. The rear brakes not holding adjustment is a huge issue. I manually adjusted mine for years before finding the solution. The stamped steel levers available today that spin the star wheel adjusters are junk and don't have enough of an edge to catch on the star wheel teeth. My last brake job, I swapped the levers from side to side on the truck, installing the left side lever on the right side wheel and the right side lever on the left side wheel, and it fixed it. Swapping them allows the very edge of the lever to grab the star wheel teeth and it works great! You'll have to hold the levers in your hand to see what I'm talking about.
Good info!!!! Thank you!
Y'all are so lucky on used vehicles!
Great content.
very nice, just got back from ft worth myself an catchin up on vids
Good to see you all living the dream. I know they are not new vehicles, but it would seem like a lot of expense for tags and insurance. In Ohio my 2000 Ford Ranger cost me around 60.00 for tags, and about 80.00 a month for full coverage insurance. It only has 56,000 miles on it.
Those are a fairly rare bird as an extended cab shortbed. I have a 95 f150 extended cab flareside and I've often toyed with the idea of finding a 250 to throw that bed on
Loving all the content on your channel. I finally found something that New Jersey is more lax than texas, older diesels are inspection exempt unless they are registered commercial. You guys got us on all the other freedoms though haha.
Big fan of that body style and especially the Bronco. Had one in high school but up here in Minnesota they are all rusted out junk or scrapped. It will treat you well.
Nice looking rig. That would fetch some big money up here in MN.
Nice end of the trip finding the F250 Power Stroke Diesel.... What was especially good on the P/U was the shortie bed, big knobby tires and all the power options even though the manual tranny had issues with 2nd and 3rd gear but that can be fixed along with the emergency cable and the horn... Solid rig for your utility work and running around......
I have one a 97 XLT power stroke Manuel tranz, Leer shell, super cab, 7ft bed, Love it.
Nice video. If that's gas station sushi your the bravest person I know. Thank you for your time.
Good job
Back from when you could tell it was a diesel from a mile away! Nice truck project.
I have a 2002 F250 4X4 Crew Cab Lariat 7.3 with lots of mods. Bought new will never get rid of it. Sound of a true diesel. Next mod limited slip front axle.
Other than the few issues it has that's a sweet powerstroke
It's vary cool to see you have a diesel truck with a manual transmision!transmission!! I have a 2004 dodge 2500 diesel quad cab 6 speed manual!!
Nice truck, I have 2002 PowerStroke with 230K, doing a turbo , Hpop, filter bowl rebuilt on it now.. also has the factory glow plugs only 4 of them are good. time for new ones
Sushi is good. Finley had a breezy ride and a cool dip in the lake. It will be interesting to see what you use the truck for.
