Hey Bernth. I just wanna say, thanks for splitting this off into its own channel. Not that I don't like your music (I love it, actually!) it's just nice to have more lessons. Do you have any videos, or could you do a video, about how to branch out from a riff to create a whole song? As a self-taught guitarist, I often come up with really cool, fun riffs and then end up relying on more musically educated friends to help flesh it out into a full track.
Every time I think I'm starting to understand more about music theory, I watch one of your videos and realize I'm an idiot, lol. Thanks for pushing me to improve.
Muss mich mal bedanken, ich schaue deine Videos seit circa 1 Monat und hab ehrlich zugelegt. Viele Übungen mitgemacht und mittlerweile kann ich den kleinen Finger unabhängig vom Ringfinger bewegen 😂 Its all about practice
Hi Bernth, thanks for it .. this you mentioned as well on your guitar clinic in Munich and where I asked you about such a video .. very very interesting but not easy ...
What i liked to do is getting the scale and the notes of the chord. Then i like to get a rough picture of what the solo should be energy wise. Low energy play many "boring" notes, high energy play all the notes that are further away. I really love licks that start resolved and build up more and more tension as you repeat the rythmic pattern. My favorite solos of all time are all singable like the intro to Wild Eyes or the Darker Still solos from Parkway Drive.
Hi Bernth, it's always nice to learn music with you, so much love it. I'm your Patreon member btw, yet I keep wondering where can I get that improvisation exercise package? I've checked and browsed all your collection lists on Patreon but I didn't find a lesson/package with that title. Perhaps, I didn't search correctly. Can you help me wit it? Thank you so much.
Based on the thumbnail I thought you were going to talk about the problem with the thumb staying in place as you play which is a huge problem I haven't solved yet. Great video otherwise though.
I love your videos, been over on the main channel for a while. I was wondering if your patrion is helpful for absolute beginners to music theory? Ive been playing a few months but i get lost whenever "keys" or "3rds and 7ths" honestly most of the terminology. I feel very stuck just going through articles and videos of people using terminology i dont understand yet. Most of the time i watch peoples hands and try really hard to just listen.
Hello sir mister man, I would be very interested if specifically YOU made a Coming from Bazar to Man of the Guitar (zero to hero) series for absolute newbies.
