As a French, I'm very touched by how Portrait of a Lady On Fire has a huge success in other countries. All the comments in here are in english, which shows Adele Haenel is internationally famous and loved. I've rarely been this proud of something or someone from my own country.

I had (still do but it got a bit better) very bad social anxiety and when I see the way she behaves, it reminds me so much of myself like the sweaty palms, the head jerking, can’t sit still etc... I’m not trying to diagnose or put labels. It’s just that I feel less alone seeing a big celeb behaving like me.
This is how I feel internally. I usually just clench my gut, ramble on and say stupid shit then beat myself up later on for saying such stupid shit. These days I just keep my mouth shut.
Her saying she'll put on her Doc Martens because her feet hurt and rolling up her tshirt sleeves during a live interview onstage are the gayest thing ever. I laughed and felt that so hard. Hell, she's awesome!
Easy, most DVD movies have English & French languages, so watch the movie in English first and then a few weeks later watch it again but this time with French language (no subtitles), you already know the movie's story so you will catch French very quickly, it works trust me, that's the way I learned English (watching French movies in English).
Alex Abadi when I made this comment I didn’t know More than bonjour and merci now I’ve been studying French for more than a month now I’m going 3 times a week and I’m doing what you said it really helps
Gosh I needed this video so much, I adore her weirdness. Kinda Kristen Stew-ish but weirder. One of the most interesting actresses we have right now for sure.
So genuine, so natural, so funky... what a charmer! And I started learning French after she walked out of Cesar 2020. Merci Adèle, you are such an inspiration!
Why people feel the need to put a lable on her? On the spectrum? Tourettes? Cmon you guys. She has tics but it doesn't put her on the spectrum. Dude. No. People arw allowed to have tics. Maybe she's just restless. Give her a break

mark rowe yes at 8.20 when the audience are applauding the end of the film you can see how awkward and nervous she is. Many actors are like this as they are confident in playing someone else but when given great praise are nervous as themselves.
She's like being with the most adorkable 5 year old, which isn't meant to be rude, it's just we all empathise with the awkwardness of being the focus of attention this way and so often, in a foreign language. Totally unique and lovable
The question that the guy asks at around 18:30 takes so goddamn long ( i have no idea what he's saying my French is rusty) I would get fidgety as well...anyway Adele is a dream woman, very unique mind, smart and mesmerizingly beautiful
Merci, au revoir 0:55 so cute when she laughs❤️ She looks so gorgeous in that interview, I can't.. I just wish I understood French😭 Thank you for these videos🙏
I don't how Noemie survived looking at Adéle. I would've die at the moment. She has ruined my life (in a good way), i'm not religious but i'm starting to believe that Adéle is an angel send by God to make the world better with her existence.
