Love the baskets❤😊
Thank you Joan. Really enjoyed your video.
Sorry I missed the live. The basket came out amazing. Thanks Joan-Marie ❤️
I love it...Thanks for the tutorial. I will definitely try this
Darling!
Hi hi, have been following you and I love what you do and I actually have made many of these baskets. Thanks to you. I do have a question on the Dura clear Matt Varnish. Do we have to use the Matt finish to get the same results or can I use the high gloss? Any help you can give would be very wonderful
Thank you for the kind words! DuraClear high gloss will give you a glossy finish, DuraClear Matte gives a non-glossy finish. So it depends on the look you desire. - Joan
Absolutely stunning. Is there a way to personalize these with names?
Thank you so much! I have seen them personalized but I’m not sure how they did it. Maybe cricut vinyl cutter. - Joan
Just curious...how long from start to finish did this basket take to complete?
Love it! Thank you for sharing your techniques and great tips. You’re great at teaching too! 🥰
Thank you for wstching! Please share with your crafting friends! 🙂
Can you use a hair dryer vs heat gun?
I really prefer a hairdryer set on med or even cool to dry BUT NOT fabric MP, it needs the heat. You can try a hairdryer I have only used the crafting heat/dryer.
Your instructions are top notch.
Have you used the reg matt modpodge? I was wondering what the results would be.
Yes, fabric MP is far more durable just as I showed in the video.
Do you put more then one coat on? Mine seems to be still shinny? Thanks
Can i paint the fabric / canvas / rope with acrylic paint and then top it with the fabric modpodge and the gloss/matte sealant? Will it be as flexible if i did?
Fabric Mod Podge stays flexible when you follow my diy. I’ve have never done the acrylic paint first so I would say test on a scrap of canvas and fabric first.
@@JoanMarieDomino appreciated. thanks :-)

I've clicked on your link below for the rope baskets, however, where can we find these deeper baskets?
The basket I used in the video is from Michael’s. Other sizes are available at different places I think I listed in the video Target, Family Dollar, Hobby Lobby, Big Lots, etc. look everywhere.
So very attractive! Thank you for the tips.
Love this idea! I’m going to try this!
Did you do the glitter paint first then the duro clear? Thanks
Yes glitter first
i made a mistake and got off white cloth pouch, can i paint them white first
Cloth pouch or basket? You can paint them white before Decoupaging the napkin
Thank you for this video. I love these. When they are done is it possible to wash them at all?
You can wipe them off as long as you seal properly, no problem
These baskets are so nice. I want to try one.
How long do you let Mod podge dry before adding the varnish?
I wait as long as possible, the longer the better since MP has a cure time.
@@JoanMarieDomino is 24 hours a good amount of time
If you can’t wait any longer then 24 hours will be ok.
When you say go over the whole basket?? are you covering the whole basket in glue or just over the image parts
Just the napkin area
@@JoanMarieDomino thank you
Love that… they are all beautiful ❤️
Where did you get these great baskets? Thanks
Michael’s
Hey Joan, Love this project!! I haven't seen this before so I am so grate for you showing me how to do it.
Thank you for tuning in!
Absolutely adorable ♥️
Do you seal a napkin that is decoupaged and then add glitter or vice a versa?
Extreme glitter MP then seal
@@JoanMarieDomino Thanks very much!
This is a great tutorial!
