    I want to put a word in for Smoke Drop. It was basically my "get out of jail free" card. Whenever there was an vek attack I couldn't cover normally (out of range/position, too many attacks), I could always drop smoke from anywhere on the map and cancel multiple vek attacks if needed. It was a fantastic failsafe to keep in my pocket, and especially good for Rusting Hulks and/or Camila.
    Tanks are generally OP, and I'd say that even the pull tank is well worth it. Any tank you get out is essentially having an extra mech that can cover more of the map. And I've frequently had situations where I'd like to move a vek toward me, but I don't have the moves to push from its far side, or its far side is blocked (building, occupied, etc.). Pull is about as useful as push in a lot of situations.

      Smoke bomb was definitely underrated in this review. Essentially, you can cancel up tp 5 enemy attacks. I like to use this on the final island if I need to clutch out the win.

    It cannot be stressed enough that the Ice Generator is a win button. Always, always, always pick it up if you are lucky enough to be given the chance. There can only be a few Vek on the map at a time and that includes frozen Vek. So, if you freeze 3 or 4 Vek on the first turn, you will have the rest of the battle on baby mode.
    I had a run today where I made so many mistakes, I ended up with just 2 pilots and an AI after the 2nd island. But, I picked up the win button and so felt confident going straight to the final battle. And I won, easily, on Hard. It is just that strong

    Boosters is the #1 best core-free classless item. But the prime weapons are crazy fun and tempting!

    Great overview, thanks for sharing! I'm just getting into the game and it can be a bit overwhelming at first because there's so many weapons to choose from. It's amazing how much the little demonstration clips go to making their use clear though.

    I think I've already said this on another video, but thanks so much for creating this series. There is really very little content like this on UA-cam for ITB and these have been super helpful.
    So far I think my favorite secondary weapons are the wind torrent and acid tanks. Acid tanks upgraded with push is like having another mech for the small cost of one action + 3 - 4 cores. Actually it doesn't even really cost an action considering you can use the tank the same turn it's deployed. Crazy strong

    So that means that with the passive upgrade i can have 2 ACID tanks in the field ?

    Do deployables get go act the turn they are deployed?

      Yes, they act on the same turn they get deployed
