I trained under Mr. Goldberg in Samford some years back.
Shugyo with him and Kiyama, absolutely incredible training that changed my life.
Mr. Goldberg always has a special place in my heart.

This is bs. People will always fight back. No matter how many years you have training or how ignorant is your opponent. They all fight back and it's Hard.

Who knew that you can shut down a person's entire body just by twisting their wrist. Turns out the last 30 years of MMA development were a waste of time.

LOL, I would humble him on tatami

Humble in what? Just because he is 4 times as old and you could perhaps "win" in a fight: you can not even repeat the simplest thing he can do. Good luck with your ART.

@@angeloschneider4272 look at 3:02 man... The opponent grabs his arm and "master" Goldberg wins without moving a muscle... This is scientifically impossible, you know that right? There's no inner energy, it's just fantasy

I'm guessing you're one of the ones that usually says something like "it works great with a compliant uki". I'm also sure that Sensi Goldberg would be more than happy to have you on the mats to demonstrate just how much "total BS" his techniques are.
The purpose of training videos such as this is to demonstrate how to properly apply a technique, not the fact that there's always some ass that says "what if I do this?" The ukemi (strike) diversion technique isn't necessary to demonstrate in a training video because we all know that nobody is going to let you just "ju jutsu" them.
If you noticed about halfway through the video, Senei demonstrated just how to deal with an opponent that was looking to strike the face, he had no chance.
Guessing also you're one who thinks punching someone in the face is the only way to fight. I've been in numerous fights myself and won without ever having thrown a single punch which by the way could wind up hurting myself so why would I do that? I'd much rather incapacitate my opponent and break their fingers, arms or legs than my own.

@@randym7692yea works great when u let him wrist lock u while u throw a punch. Show me where this bs is full action against a real resisting opponent not some uke rolling around on command.
