I think it's just one shot you're seeing. In context it may be a wide angled scene and it's just the perspective you're seeing it from. Theres still a lot of detail in that pic. Imo the original art style screams slowpaced drama/comedy while this to me says more fast paced action/comedy.

People now a days would not be able to hand the humor of a Boondocks reboot. Same goes for Scary Movie. Society has gotten way too sensitive, they would cancel the show over the first joke told. 🤷🏽♀️

I almost never watch TV but even I know that this show was something special to people. I'm sure they'll reboot it when nostalgia for it is strongest. Look at how they're currently rehashing everything. Give it time. Everything old is new again.
