    I love Beyond Beauty. I installed No 4, and actually won the hair in black/ burgundy from UniqueRenee all last yr.( Also I order the same color you have 3 months ago.) I crocheted all of it without doing the front perimeter . It took me 1hr and 40 min.( I twisted the hair 3 days before installing. I split and twisted the 2 bundles and the 3rd I didnt split.( Total of 144 braids)
    Before splitting the hair , I used blck Jamaican castor styling gel and coconut oil and apply it, then stretch it and separate it by using my thumb and just going through the hair. No problems! I also shampooed while the spring hair was in my hair and still looked good. I kept it in for 3 wks. Also I reused this hair twice.

      Thats awesome! I always worry about crotchets looking too bulky.

    • @ablckdiamd1
      @ablckdiamd1 5 років тому +1

      @@ah-ss7he If its too bulky, then its too much hair. Always space the hair from the nape to the crown, then from the crown to the front crochet close together.

    Thank you for giving details about the time and different methods you tried, because I probably would have wasted a lot of time as well, I like them separated like this versus keeping them together because this is exactly what my natural hair looks like when I twist it, this just makes it fuller, thanks again

    You're not fluffing it out right that is why it tangles.. Try this. Put one end in each hand... Now. Stretch out the whole curl until it fluffs out! It will split on it's own.. Then you just pull it apart

  • @innerbeautyluv
    @innerbeautyluv 5 років тому +15

    I have the same hair and the same color that you have. What I did was start separating the hair at the end first then then I pulled in the center and I was able to preserve more hair. Mine looks alot like the ladies picture you showed because I twist right hand over left hand. It will get easier if you choose to do it again.

This will be my 2nd time doing twist and I'm so glad I found your video bc the first time I did it. they began to slip out within one week and I had to keep redoing them. 😖 I used the braiding method. I'm definitely going to try your way this time bc yours came out just how I'd like mine and you look beautiful!!! Thanks!!🤗😍

      @@Keenasworld Thanks for the tip, I definitely will. Because my hair isn't shoulder length yet and is rather coily frizzy, (haven't had heat on my hair for other a year), I decided to braid my hair just past midway and incorporate my left out ends into the twists. They came great using the method you show. I love that your's looks so full. I have a small head and thin medium dense hair so whenwver I braid or twist it even with small parts, it never looks full. 😞😔 I wanted to ask what length did you use? I used 16in but I like how your length looks better. lol 😊

    To get that curly effect scrunch the twists back up up as you twist if that makes sense. Like take both sides of the twists and pull them apart and up to scrunch the twist back up as you’re going.

    I'm going to try spring twists and hope they look like yours.
    I'm doing my own box braids for the first and girl...it's taking too...will be spending the 4th of July finishing these darn braids.
    I'm crocheting all but 2 rows in the front going forward. That goes for twists and braids.
    Question: Do the twists come apart if you cut them to avoid having to twist forever?

    Next time, try putting a twisting Creme on the hair before separating. Stretch the hair, holding both sides and separate from the middle. It works, that’s what I did and the hair gives less trouble to separate.
