Typically we give kindling away to anyone who asks for it when ordering wood. We have tons of it around leftover from splitting. We’ll fill up grain sacks full or wrap into a bundles. I even have a whole face cord bag full at the moment from raking out the barn aisle and cribs. Ashamed to say that most of it goes on the burn pile. Always appreciate you watching!
Actually watched Buckin’s video earlier, planning to try the calibration this weekend. Have never calibrated my 500i, it’s bone stock and cuts like a banshee with no issues. Will report back. Thanks for watching!
Pecan is a tough one, even down here in the south. It's not a natural growing tree, like Hickory or Cherry. We keep feelers out with tree companies, as well as clearing operations that run across them for removal. So far the supply has held out, but it's definitely getting tougher. Wish I would've planted an orchard years ago. Thanks for watching!
@@rogerl8488We do alright on it. Charge a bit of a premium, as it’s a specialty wood. Have a pretty good stockpile, but it always seems to go out faster than it comes in!
You got it figured out
Appreciate it!
hi there another nice show . john
Appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching!
I like your system for handling the wood! KC Don 😉
Appreciate it! Works really well for us. Thanks for watching!
Great content!
Thanks so much for the kind words. Really appreciate you watching!
If you had a 12 inch bucket you could probably grab the log between the 16”marks.
We think alike haha. That thought taunted me every time I grabbed a log. Unfortunately our 12” bucket was on a job site. Appreciate you watching!
Another great video as always. I even followed the link on the bags. Great online presence, and it looks like a little SEO was done as well.
Thanks for the kind words! Really appreciate you watching!
Love the view of NC what part is it? So how many miles do you go to deliver??
Central NC, it’s a pretty spot for sure. Our normal service area is around 20 miles, but we’ll go as far as someone is willing to pay!
Is this a hobby or a full-time gig?
Evenings and weekends only. We’ve got full time day jobs. Gluttons for punishment 😂
Do you ever offer your bigger orders a bundle of kindling as a teaser ?
They might order a dozen bundles at $6.50 each.
Just a thought.

@@mowdan77 Truck was purchased used a while back. We’ve priced a new one recently, and it was over $100k 😳
@@FoxfireProjects what’s the truck called if I look for used trucks ?
Knuckle boom crane truck.
Where so you get your supply of pecan logs? No pecan up north here.
