My biggest issue with WarThunder at this point isn't even the research being long, or having to research the same vehicle over and over again (unless the vehicle sucks, but that's a different issue), I work quite well with repetitive things. It's the fact that the crew skills take so unbearably long to get to an acceptable point. I now have a single air crew at lvl 75 and no ground crews at 150 (one is close though). It is just so frustrating starting a new tech tree and having the sherman in that tree reload multiple seconds slower than a sherman in another tree. And by the time i get the crew to an acceptable point im at 7.7.
They want you to pay money. That's why only what 5 slots are silver?
My own main problem is the lack of game mode variety, we seriously need SOMETHING different to make the game fun, or more strategic gameplay at the very least
The pool of research is a fantastic idea. Right now I'm always one update behind because I have no incentive to spade top tier vehicles because there's nothing left to research.

Good ideas, but naturally they aren't going to do any of that. Either because of greed, laziness, or incomitance
I'd like to seen an option to spend SL to use that convertible RP if you complete a tree. It's not even close to economical to GE that convertible RP.
What I would like to see, is after researching all of a nations ground vehicles, instead of having the option to research helicopters, you could research a chosen ground vehicle from another nation. That would provide a way to research enough of another nations vehicles at a particular B.R. to create a 3 vehicle group above the reserve level.
Something i'd like to see is when you get all the modfications on a tank, is that all the xp earned on it goes to your next tank, or perhaps the modifications of another, or perhaps the removal of the xp penalty for low tier tanks when using high teir.
In ffxiv, when you are playing any job that is a lower level than your highest level job, you get an automatic 10% bonus to exp recieved.
I think introducing unique reward vehicles for completly researching a rank would be cool too. Not something that's incredibly OP or takes away from the main tree. Just a cool vehicle to work toward.

China uses the tor and has for a while, but it's weird they gave Russia the pantsir instead of it

they need to make up their mind what research system they want to choose, rank or line and not double dip, if they choose rank system, fine just let us research any vehicle in that rank or just let us research that line and dont make us strategise which lines will allow us to reach top tier
Ground takes way too long to research. Its less rewarding for air and you need at least 3 vehicles vs 1 for air
I think there should be a “total war” game mode where lineups can be multi country to give a reason to grind out multiple trees
Honestly playing top tier and after countless matches seeing the rp dissappear is sad.. i am trying to grind britain. Having to utilise my main nation to grind out another just makes pure sense but the snail is hungry...to add insult to injury i don't think the devs would reimburse us on the rp loss..
The convertible rp mentioned is definitely something to be revised
Due to my country currency, I haven't the ability to buy a lot of premium or premium time in low
So basically, I can't buy premiums for every nation,
so I stick with one nation and really become very good in it
If I want to research a new nation, I would be painful without premium, especially in high tiers
They can increase xp in high tier, so it didn't take ages to research top tier

Im fond of the idea of giving a stackable RP bonus if you unlock all vehicles in a tier. e.g. i unlock all vehicles in tier 5 germany ground, now i get an RP bonus to all research for other ground trees up to and including tier 5.
I just wish there was a way to earn higher br premiums. Used to you could earn mid br premiums via the war bonds shop, but they’ve made that even harder than earning the actual battle pass vehicle. They also got rid of GE wagers so you can’t earn them that way either

Maybe, hear me out. What if you could use SL for the PremiumRP? Like okay I know the game is grindy, BUT AT LEAST WE COULD USE THEM. Or make more squadron vehicles, and revamp the squadron rp system? Like you get Squadron RP the same way as ConvertibleRP? So you can research different nations' vehicles by playing with your main
I would love to play other nations but all the things (battlepass and events and ETC..) require rank 3 or higher and I only have 1 nation that far and since these are always going on now I never get top play anything lower.
I have been playing since there was only 3 nations in the game and NO TANKS. It was JUST planes. The grind has honestly been so bad that I dont even have a full tech tree because I just...lose interest. I have really bad ADHD, so I go through these times of playing for a week or so and then just...moving on because I dont feel like im getting anywhere. I love the game, but they make it SO HARD to progress anywhere for people with the same issues ive got.
It gets really boring playing the same lineup for days or even weeks just to unlock a single mid to top tier vehicle but when you play other nations or vehicles you end up reducing the speed at which you unlock the vehicle you want. I think you should be able to research any vehicle by using a lineup of equal tier of any nation at any point even if you have not unlocked the previous tiers, it would allow players to play their favorite vehicles while also allowing you to play a variety of nations and vehicles

another great idea.... is when you have stock planes.. or tanks.. to not get 10 up tiers in a row that the basic shell cant do anything.... that 1.0 br how are the brs now and the huge difference and gaps does not work.
this might be an unpopular opinion but id actually enjoy having your player level tied to individual nations. id rather use the old system where you get a bunch of vehicles when you level up. id like hitting whatever the max level is, 60 70 80 100 number dosent matter and unlock that battle bracket
Knowing Gaijin they would add lootboxes that you could but with convertable RP instead just being able to buy them instantly
i just dont want to have to grind 400k RP for one top tier plane... I started playing in 2019 and ive finished the german ground tree now doing the american air tree...just started researching the F-80 so who knows how long the grind will be until the F-15

Something like that grinding for camouflages or i.e. 1st Mark at 100 kills with ur Tank, 2nd Mark at around 400 kills, 3rd at 1000 kills or more that would make even spaded Tanks playworth again!
i´m for example not that interested in Top Tier ground... so i´m stuck here with my spaded nations (only Russia and Merica left) and i don't even know what i should do next...
i play only on events right now for Ground and maybe Naval.
So the grinding for me is to less... yeah call me weird!
I have premiun time and premium tanks, still I have to grind month just to get like 1 tank, then I have to grind silver to buy that tank, grind silver to upgrade and get the crew in, and then I need to repeat that again to get another tank for the line up. So literally takes months to get top tier line up done. No wonder everyone quits after 1 death in matches. The game is ridiculous grind. I wont even bother main multiple nations cause I know I will never get them done and Id need to waste another 600 euros to get premium tanks and stuff to get there.
The game is doing the exact same thing over and over again. Same horrible maps and gamemodes all over again. I dont even bother to play it anymore. Cant wait for Stalker 2 so I get something to play.

Researching a whole row (the next vehicles in the tech tree) should be a thing. So that it encourages balanced lineups!
@TheEuropeanCanadian I doubt Gaijin will go for your 'research point pool' idea. They see that as the purpose for the existing Convertible RP and that gets them $$ because you need to buy GE to use the Convertible RP.
Your talisman idea might be something they would agree to if, here's my tweak to your idea, the bonus applies to the copy-paste vehicle ONLY if it is in a different national tree. I wouldn't apply that restriction but it might be necessary to get Gaijin to agree.
My method would apply to all vatiants, whether they are in the same national tree or other nations. For example: I unlock all of the mods for the M60 in the American tree. All other M60 variants now get a 25% reduction to the cost of modules.
If a second M60 variant is completely unlocked, no matter what nation, the. All of the remaining get 50% reduction to the cost of modules.
If a third variant is completly unlocked, then all remaining variants get 75% reduction to the cost of modules.
This people still have reason to play other nations BUT it won't be as painful and boring.
Of course, Gaijin wants it painful & boring so you will just shell out the money to unlock everything right away.
I dont think theres a way to make grinding in WT fun besides literally just finding a vehicle/plane you enjoy or tolerate and play it untill you get the next good or tolerable vehicles

6:00 Tiger 10.5 is not fake at all, panther 2 is fake like how they built it for the game, but there was a concept for a panther 2 (the tiger was designed). Calling them fake is extremely dumb.
Tiger 3 isn't gonna help at all germany at 7.0, if we gonna add paper vehicles, lets just consider Lowe which would be like a IS3 competitor as of front armor.

The tiger 2 with the 105 never left the drawing board, it also was never going to get the 900hp engine. The panther 2's hull was built, also without the 900hp engine and without a turret, only the americans would put a panther G turret on it. The turret in game is a complete fabrication.
Both vehicles either never existed at all, or never existed in the way implemented in the game.
They are both fake.
Tiger 105 is extremely fake, it was never built and the massive gun clipped into the gunner lmao

the grind nowadays really isnt all too bad, i think they could tho seperate all the tech trees into 2 parts where you can choose to either start at "reserve" modern vehicles (1st gen mbt's like leopard 1 etc) or the prewar reserves like we have already
The grind is way worse than it used to be. Better than 2015 where you were limited to like 3k to a match yes. But worse than after they removed the to per match cap
With the amount of gaps still in say SPAA, entire ranks, they should expand the rank research penalty to allow you grind the next two tiers at full efficacy not just 1
