My Way semi finals should be next. That song is her completely personal made cover. In the finals she had only 3 days to prepare so she ended up using a cover of Over the Rainbow partly created by created by Loren Allred. Since then Sydnie and Loren have released a music video of them doing a duo of that song.
This was Sydnie's last ditch chance as she was going to give up because she wants to be a mom and to be a mom you need to be financially stable, and for the last 10 years she had been chancing her dreams of being in the West End with no luck. When you said that she reminded you of Billie Holiday or ancestors, I think you probably were talking about how she reminded you of an old soul. And yes, Sydnie does remind us of Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, etc... . Her voice gives off that old soul vibe. And she signed a contract with Westway, which is the the top and best company that has the greatest musical theatre artists and performers. So no need to worry about Sydnie's future because they will make sure that she is taken well cared of. 😊

What a amazing preformance from Sydney which I never heard of until your reaction Jacqueline and yes we agree she's is a goof too lol but has confidence and a good outlook on her singing skills she even impressed Simon you know how hard that is to do that so you think you could impress Simone with your singing jvb if you were on his show ?
