When I try to drop colors into my drawing it’s turns the whole thing one color. How do I fix that?
This usually happens if there’s a small gap in your drawing, so the color spills out and fills everything. Here’s how you can fix it:
Check Your Lines: Zoom in and make sure all your lines are connected. Even tiny gaps can cause this, so close any you find with the brush tool.
Adjust the Color Drop Threshold: When you drag the color in, don’t lift your pen right away-keep it on the screen and slide left or right. This changes the 'threshold,' so you can control how much gets filled. Lowering it should help!
Use Reference Layers: If your lines are on one layer and you’re filling on another, tap the line layer, then tap 'Reference' in the menu. This tells Procreate to use your lines as a guide for filling.
Let me know if this works for you or if you have more questions!
May i know which ipad are you using here? Thank you
In this video I was using the iPad Pro 12.9inch 2022. However, the iPad Air 2024 is pretty amazing!
When I resize the drawings to make a sticker sheet, I lose quality. Originally, I draw the drawings pretty big and then I just resize them to make them smaller. I draw on a 3,000 by 3,000 pixles canva, I have also tried 2,000 by 2,000. Is there a way around this? I have been searching online but have not found anything yet. How do I make the drawings smaller without losing quality? 😢
Hi! Is your canvas set up to be 300dpi? How are you resizing your drawings to make them smaller?
Hi, thank you so much for the quick response! Yes it is 300dpi. So what i do is i create the sticker on one canvas, and then i create a new canvas and i copy my sticker in there and resize it. I just do what you did, i click the mouse icon and resize it using the dots
I can even draw a cat with a kitten in a pink heart bubble
To fast show how to draw the cat
Thanks for your feedback! I'll do another one with a cute cat drawing on Procreate!
