Natasha's personal skill is actually very on point if you read her conversations in Heroes, where she's literally so invested in keeping people healthy that she'll run right into an army thats in the middle of fighting
Imagine about Forde's personal skill Kyle: Forde you're injured you need to heal! Forde: Naahhh imma take a nap **takes a nap** Kyle: FORDE NOWS NOT THE TIME!!!- **Forde Restores all HP** Kyle: HUH!?!?
I enjoy all of these though I would personally change Joshua's into something a tad more practical since there aren't a lot of Arena's in the game. I say give Joshua a different version of the gamble skill. For every crit or hit Joshua gets, his crit rate goes up but the debuff to his accuracy gets bigger until he does eventually miss. It basically shows how someone can get super over confident when luck goes into their favor ONCE and they keep going until finally their luck runs out. This effect could reset after every miss. It's basically like the time I gambled all my orbs to get a character I really wanted, I get lucky once and then I think I can get the rest of the focus heroes. Essentially gamblers are Icarus incarnate and when the sun burns us? IT REALLY BURNS. Then again I'm not a game designer and I prefer skills that help all game instead of niche times so that's just my personal preference. Great video btw! It just makes me want a SS Remake more and more.
I had something really funny on mind. Well, you see it's like the skill gamble but instead of a highger crit chance, it's a x4 damage crit BUT with a bakcfire chance (%luck) i found it hilarious and super risky
@@artlover9261 So wait, are you saying Joshua is essentially part Devil Axe? That's so evil! I LOVE! Okay, yeah that IS funny! I don't touch the devil axe but i would play with that version of Joshua. I genuinely want this.
Orson may be able to keep his skill, just rename it to "Shielding Dellusions". His wife may be dead, but it doesn't matter if he just pretends she isn't really, really hard. Even if she is a discount morph, the raw belief can push him.
Broke: Seth gets Dedicated Vassal, increasing the evasion of Erika and Ephraim Woke: Seth gets War Demon, gains +1 crit per unit he's defeated on the current map
Really cool skills! I liked Erika's, it makes a lot of sense and helps her out. Also Ford's very creative and funny, I would die to see Ford taking a power nap on the front lines
I thought of an interesting idea for Joshua, perhaps when he levels up you can choose to re-roll his level up, to attempt to get a better level, but potentially resulting in a worse level. This would allow Joshua to live by his mindset of luck trumping all, by having it even more involved in his growth than the other units
I’ve never been a fan of personals that increase growths. Because you don’t really feel that if the skill can’t be unequipped you know? You’re just a guy with higher growth rates (hi Cyril). That being said the lore behind Garcia’s skill that you made up is cool
Exactly. Instead of an increasing growth skill (on a bit less than Average Growths) they could have increase his base growth and give him a better skill. I'm pretty sure people started hating him simply because they expected a character like Donnel or Mozu. He isn't as strong but also not nearly that bad of a unit people like to say. However he is not as good to make the "extra trouble" worth it. Especially compared with units who had that Skill before.
I would change Joshua's to gamble: Unit gets +15% crit but -10% crit avoid. I know that he cheats and all but it still sounds like a good fit. Innes: Something similar to Takumi's personal skill should work. "If Ephraim or a unit of higher level is within 2 spaces of unit unit deals +3 damage. Syrene: "Defender, unit suffers no penalties when carrying a rescued unit." Since she was protecting all those civilians in her joining chapter. If it's not strong enough also add a "unit takes -2 damage when carrying a rescued unit."
Nice skills! I think that most of them reflect their personalities well (Ex. Orson). For skill theorizing, I though of a few skills that'd I think would be interesting --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- L'arachel: Path of Righteousness: Gains Effective damage on monsters. (Slayer skill) (L'arachel: Die Monster you don't belong in this world.) Rennac: "Carcino Economics": Luck/2% chance to receive a red gem from every enemy slain and provides the effects of the Silver Card. (Once again, Carcino is a footnote in this game and it's the second republic in the series just let him have this) Tethys: Black Rider: Gains plus 1 movement when at 50% Hp (It would be easy to give her dance a stat buff but I figured her death quote would be interesting)
Bout fucking time. Also I would make one nerf to Colm's skills: Cannot mug undead. Also those aren't really skirts as much as torn up pants on Skeletons
Though i know Seth is quite busted even without a personal skill so why not just give him the personal skill called "injured" where it reads as "the owner of said skill's stats is not as high as it should be" basically nothing will change about seth. Basically regigigas' slow start but permanent: Seth would still retain his big numbers but if ever said skill is removed, he'd have ungodly numbers
1:34 by giving this skill you are already doing a buff of some form -so challenge failed- 3:11 nah he has 30% speed i think Barth leveling res is where its at 4:30 it would be pretty interesting if Latona had the power to heal all hp and statuses AND something similar to the Exorcise Staff from Tear Ring Saga
I feel those skills should alsontry to double as an equalizer, wich they really aren't for many chars. Vanessa, already a top tier unit, gain a fairly big buff, while Neimi get even worse in most "efficient" scenarios.
If possible, I'd love to see the rest of the characters from this game that you didn't get to in this video, to see what they'd have. 😍🤔🤷 Also if this was made into an actual hack of the game, I'd love to check it out.
With that personal skill Garcia's growths are: 160 HP 130 Str 80 Skill 40 Speed 80 Luck 50 Speed 30 Res He would be broken in pvp after infinite grinding
Tbh I'd prefer Eirika getting a skill that patches up her god awful strength; either Strong Riposte or Quick Draw from Fates would do wonders, even if you need to nerf Quick Draw to +2-3. Glad Ephraim doesn't get shit because he's already unbelievably busted, but if he were to have one, Inspiration from Fates would be really solid, since he's such a good leader. Again, if you need to nerf it to +1/-1, that's still decent, but I don't think +2/-2 is breaking anything. Ross's skill kinda blows, he's not an enemy phase juggernaut, he's an intercontinental ballistic missile you sent at shit you want dead on Player Phase; I'd say Warriors Spirit ought to boost hit by 10 and damage or AS by 2 when below 50% HP, to help give him an edge over his dad. Speaking of Garcia, just no 👀💦 Moulders skills could easily train him to ungodly levels, unless the heal XP is based on shared levels, like how Azuras dance XP is. Even so, I think Garcia should just get boosted EXP in general, as that's more of him shaking off the rust by getting levels faster and finding his groove again. This also helps him train alongside his son, because at this point your roster is getting very full, and getting EXP shared around is going to be super rough.
I think Joshua’s could have also been something along the lines of “loaded dice” or something : Joshua has an extra 20 crit, but when he crits it’s only x2 instead of x3
Garcia's skill kinda sucks I feel. He'll get exp so slowly that his increased growths don't matter. He'll fall off really quickly. For this to work he probably needs to join as a pre promote, or his starting stats should be raised
Disagree, his most important growths would be over 100% and his lower growths have a much lower chance of be screwed. I probably miscalculated, but a 20% growth mean a 40% chance of missing 4 levels in a row wich match the buffed current sperd growth.
@Ernesto Amatruda but he's still going to lag behind on levels. The only way he's gonna get noticeable exp early game is from bosses. It doesn't matter how fast he grows, if he only grows once or twice per map.
@@matthijscalje4143 this is fire emblem. Whit how low growths are in most games you can spend 5 levels only getting HP, Skill and Luck gains. Doubling growth rates means severely lowering and in some cases removing entirely the risk of bad RNG. And i'ts not Like SS esrlygame is hard, he can for sure get the couple levels he need by the time enemies start becoming more demanding.
Natasha's personal skill is actually very on point if you read her conversations in Heroes, where she's literally so invested in keeping people healthy that she'll run right into an army thats in the middle of fighting
I think it's also mentioned in her Seth support that she tends to do that, she heals first and asks questions later

Rennac loses stats while adjacent to L'Arachel or Dolza. If adjacent to both the nerfs stack.
