It’s been a while sense I've watched basketball youtube so the whole time I was thinking who is this I recognized the voice, is it Mann? No, it’s Crowley.
Imagine that the fact that even if he wouldnt progress one bit after his first season, he'd still potentially be on path to be an all time great.

@@NoLuvCity This take is about his ceiling, not expectations. Ceiling means what's the best possible legacy he could leave behind if all goes well. We won't be disappointed if he doesn't have that kind of career, but that's still where many of us are placing his ceiling.
Someone said it online and I always repeat it. He looks like he was grown in a lab specifically to end the endless GOAT debates once and for all. I fully believe that if he stays healthy, he WILL be the GOAT.

it's a hard ceiling though, MJ and LeBron have achieved a lot and with better body types (being 7'4" is hard on the body and there are legitimate questions about durability)

Victor can also do THE SPLITS at 7 foot 4 inches… nobody else in the world can do that at that height. He’s not going to get injured

Maybe not. He plays with a mental freedom combined with the athleticism that allows him to take whatever is best to do at any given moment. It's more difficult to guard him when there is that kind of freedom.

Imo he is a student of the game, he will use many of the greats signature moves, not talking about Kareem's hook specifically even though it's a possibility but he will definitely have a fadeway, catch and block, euro-step, chase down block, no look pass. I can definitely seem him do things off the back board.
If he really gets to the point of DPOY, high skill 3 level scorer, and elite playmaker, it's gonna be really hard not to put him at least in the top 5 all time. Walton could have been that player with better health. Both Luka and Jokic are limited by their defensive ceilings, Embiid and Giannis are limited by playmaking ceilings, and everyone else isn't young enough to have nearly as much potential, other than I guess if Tatum elevates to MVP level and is considered the core of a bonafide new Celtics dynasty.

I believe in Wemby’s GoaT potential, but currently he’s an incredibly overrated defender. Obviously his help defense is nuts, but lack of strength can’t be overlooked for the massive hole it is (and it will get better). I don’t understand him getting a free pass for being the one Embiid dropped 70 on this season

Much like Kareem who had a long career, Wemby does a lot of yoga in an effort to keep himself flexible and healthy. He is very focused on keeping his feet and ankles strong.

Wemby is likely to have double the number of assists as MJ did and win 10 DPOY honors compared to MJ's one. He could easily win five or more scoring titles. With all those accolades 5 rings should be no problem. His biggest hurdle as it is with all players, is staying healthy. Wemby is focused on staying strong and flexible much like Kareem did.
